Forever, this will be my favorite Greek diner. A staple in Kalamazoo, been going here since I was in high school back in the 90s.Theo and Stacy gave so much to this community, especially those most in need around the holidays, so it just feels good to support them. Back to the food...All is delish. All the regular American stuff is great: burgers, fries, BLT, and all the breakfast options. And the Greek menu is insanely good. My go-to plates are the gyro, spinach pie, Greek salad, the Olympia Sampler Platter, and, of course, the baklava.Service is always quick, hardly ever a wait, even when it's packed. And what's crazy is that, in the 30 plus years I've been coming here, never a bad meal, always exceptional service from the staff and counter checkout folks, and the place is always well kept and clean. Best of all, the food always comes out hot and fresh.

Stopped by after work for breakfast and the food was absolutely delicious! I had eggs Benedict with gyro meat and my husband had a griddle sandwich. Staff was friendly and food came out hot and quick! We will definitely be back :)

Authentic? That was my question. All of a sudden, the owner comes into the dining area from the kitchen. Her accent was beautiful. She was authentically Greek ... and so is the food! What a sweet person. We talked about her 50 years of being in business. We talked about her late husband. We even talked a little bit about religion. What a wonderful experience! I hope to visit there again sometime.

I had an hour between presentations at a conference next door and stopped in to eat. I waited a little over 40 minutes and didn't see my food in the window so I told the hostess that I unfortunately could not wait any longer because I had to return to the conference. I told her I would pay for the side salad that came with the meal and beverage but I couldn't wait for the food any longer. I told her I wasn't upset and could see they were busy. She then told me I could take the food to the conference to go and eat it there and I said that wouldn't work because it wasn't a handheld meal that's easy to eat to go. So she said I could take it to my room later and reheat it. I told her that I didn't want to walk around with the to go bag for over 3 hours, had plans downtown after the conference, and could not continue to wait for it to be prepared to go. So she then said she would take 50% off the meal (I never received) and thought she was giving me some sort of deal. I argued a little but then just paid it and left only to realize she didn't even give me a full 50% off. I would not recommend or return again. Fortunately I ate at Old Burdick's the next day. Food and service were both amazing at that place!!

I accidentally gave my server Pamela a thumbs down on the survey but I promise I meant to hit up. She gave me thumbs up service. Good job Pamela! Also the food is good and the people are friendly!

That's for the manager, after the 2 waitresses did an amazing job getting people their food and drink, in walks the "Boss", barking at the 2 that had made it pleasurable. Rude is an understatement, then she does the rude thing to me because I forgot I had no cash and wanted to put the tip on card. She must be a family member they are trying to help get her life together. Management isn't it.

This is the best food in downtown Kalamazoo! I’ve been coming here for years and have never had bad food or service. All of the servers are great especially Alivia T. She’s always so nice and makes sure you get everything you need. Thank You Stacy & Betty & Crew!!!

Super friendly place as always, but quality has gone down. Some food was great, other things not so. They even admitted they used instant mashed potatoes. It doesn't look like the interior has been touched in 50 years. Its still ok, just a blast from the past.

Theo and Stacy's is sort of an institution in K-zoo. They've been in business for a lot of years and doing it well. I was sad to see they closed two of their restaurants. However, they live on, in downtown Kalamazoo. Great breakfasts and great service! A class organization all the way down the line. I highly recommend them!

In our search for a breakfast diner, we tried Theo & Stacey's this past Saturday morning, a place we hadn't been in for decades. Once upon a time, when we were worked in the healthcare field, we took our patients, many in foster care and on limited incomes, to this restaurant. Inexpensive, but good, filling breakfasts were the attraction. But that was then. Service: Competent, professional, and attentive. Zero complaints. Five stars. Food: My girl & I each had the Farmhouse Skillet: "2 eggs any style, green peppers, onion, and cheddar cheese with choice of diced meat (ham, bacon, or sausage). American fries or sweet potatoes & toast." We had eggs over easy, sausage as our protein, American fries, and an English muffin. The result: Unseasoned & bland. The sausage slices were completely tasteless. The bowls were amateurish and an embarrassment. The food with the most taste were the little packets of Smucker's jelly we used for our muffins. The coffee? A weak, tepid brew. The food was one star. And that is a gracious gift. Cost: With tip, about $34. Yikes. So, poor value for the dollar. We need to keep looking. This restaurant ain't it.

I love coming here with my partner for lunch. I feel nostalgic when I come here because it reminds me of one of my favorite diners growing up. I’ve been here about 5 times so far and usually the food is always up to par. I always gets small Greek salad regardless because the feta and dill with the house made dressing is so good. My last visit our fries were pretty undercooked, but honestly the serving size for the food in general are enough that I always take food home anyway, and I just popped them in the air fryer for a bit. The staff are great and always welcoming, totally deserving of great tips. And you will get your food in a timely fashion. Definitely a staple for us and recommend if you like a low key diner worth a great food selection.

What a nice place to sit down, relax and have a good meal. After a long day at the convention, a group of us wanted to get away from the Radisson and get a bite to eat. We came here to Theo & Stacey's and were treated very well. The food was good and the service was fantastic. The wait staff was very friendly. Next time I am in Kalamazoo I will be back here to Theo & Stacy's.

Gone to Theo and Stacy's most of my life. Stop in for a gyro whenever I'm in Kalamazoo. Never a disappointment.
