I Like it here everything was smooth when the old owner had owned the company but there have been good new things that came along with the new owner with the expansion of the menu, but the biggest downfall to where I’m starting not to want to come is because every time there is always something different with the recipes. The recipes are not consistent. one day I might like something and get the same thing the next day and it’ll be completely different. For example The cajun gumbo I had recently has usually a thick consistency but the recent time that I just got it, it was really brothy/water and I did not enjoy it. Things will be better if they can be consistent with their recipes and how it’s being made until then I might just have to stay away..
Amazing soups and sandwiches. New owner rocks. Best grilled cheese ever!

Awesome soups and sandwiches, grilled cheese! Jess runs a tight ship, very fair prices and good service too.
I stop in here most mornings to grab (always) a coffee and something to eat. I spent some change over $10 on a large coffee, a muffin, and a burrito today. How can you beat that? All of which was quality and made with real ingredients, it seems. I felt no shame from fueling my day with items from this place. Now let me tell you why else I stop here.
Totally Brewed always features coffee in their hot pump dispensers from Ferris or Fox N Sons. The best part about their coffee is not the perfect little description with the tasting notes, roast style, and bitterness level, but that it's not TOO hot. It's hot, but just hot enough that you can still enjoy it fairly quickly after purchasing. Now, I'm going to get myself riled up here about their muffins.... Excuse me, but how? They are so incredibly moist and delectable. I've tried just about every flavor and never once been disappointed. $2.75 for a muffin like that? I can't even get a terrible, pre-packaged muffin for that price at Speedway. Also, They just recently changed their breakfast burritos, which are now stuffed with what seems to be, big ol' pieces of fresh cooked sausage, real eggs, and cheddar cheese, all wrapped up in some new and improved tortilla. Idk what kind of tortilla that was that I just ate, but I was really impressed. Not as structurally sound as the old burrito, but way way way better and I could still eat it in my vehicle without making any sort of mess, which is super ideal for me.
The women that work there, also are so friendly and sweet and, whichever one of them is responsible for my addiction to their hommade soup, can we be friends and share recipes??
Oh, and they compost all of their coffee grounds and food scraps.

We probably picked the wrong things to try. I think the cold brew was plain ol' SToK. The breakfast burritos featured hard little nuggets of sausage buried in concealed egg and cheese product. The salsa on the side had negative-to-zero spice.
We regrettably didn't try the featured specialty coffee or wrapped baked goods. We'll have to do that sometime, after which I'll come back and update this review to be fair.

Great hidden gem - new ownership - very friendly
Stopped in for the first time today and food was excellent! I highly recommend the egg salad sandwich and the chili!
I like how the place is evolving in some ways by adding more thing to the menu but I have to give it 3 stars because there most of the time there is no consistency far as certain things . For example a soup can be thick one day, soupy the next or just different. Even if it’s the same thing. If you receive it one day and it’s thick which is usually how I like it. I’m going to want that again. Not for it to be soupy. But Once again I do like how there is more options and the cornbread is really good!
Loved the veggie sandwich!

Totally Brewed is a vibrant shop in downtown Kalamazoo. There is seating allowing the patrons a view of Bronson Park. I had the mushroom soup, which was incredible. They offer lots of grab and ho options from veggies and dip to fruit and yogurt and a nice selection of baked goods to choose from. And of course, excellent coffee. Staff is extremely friendly.

A wonderful vegetarian, not beef based, vegetable soup! Great atmosphere! Bubbly friendly service and just attitudes all the way around. The bread bowls are amazing. They have bagels, muffins, yogurt Parfets, pastries, candy, and amazing coffee. A ton of lunch soups and sandwiches. They featured an egg nog latte that looked dreamy! A definite stop if you are exploring downtown kalamazoo!

Love the soups
NEW OWNERSHIP IS AMAZING! If you haven't been in since November 2023, you haven't experienced all the incredible changes! In addition to making ALL soups and deli salads FROM SCRATCH, they support and serve items from other local area businesses like Renzema's Bakery and Coffee Rescue! I was really impressed with the new owner and hearing of all the exciting improvements to come. Jess has a HUGE passion for serving fresh, high quality food--her excitement is contagious! Stop in and experience it all for yourself! YUM!!!
