**The Junkfood Connoisseur** pays a visit. I don't know anything about mead. The bartender went above and beyond answering all of my stupid questions. She was very knowledgeable and good to talk with. I purchased a glass of Holy Grail. It tasted great! I brought home a bottle of Skadi for a Yule solstice party tonight.

My home away from home. Try something different and delicious with one of their meads or mead mixers in a viking themed, welcoming, and accepting space away from the chaos of downtown. Come for the live music Sundays or comedy Thursdays, or the other awesome events and stay for the friends you'll undoubtedly make.

The Holy Grail is top notch - amazing stuff.The owner is so friendly, and the rest of the crew is great. They have comedy nights, trivia nights, open mic nights, occasional karaoke, and they let you bring in your own board games if you want to hang out there with some buddies on a day off. There's something for everyone here.This is a mead hall - so don't expect a food menu. But they do allow outside food, and have deals with a pizza restaurant where you can get discounts if you use their promo code, which I thought was pretty cool.An establishment like this is not only rare, but it is one of a kind. We'll be back again and again. Cheers!

I absolutely agree with the other one star review. The worker had amazing customer service and was so kind, but I was completely shocked by the taste of the mead. I love absolutely love mead, so I was thrilled to find this one with a high rating when visiting Kalamazoo. My husband and I were shocked by the taste. I can’t pinpoint the taste, it has a super syrupy flavor and you can’t necessarily taste the fruit in it. The atmosphere is also lacking, but we were willing to ignore that for mead. We left so disappointed.
