Whoa. This place just got way better. Click List is an incredible timesaver! Instead of making our shopping list on a piece of paper and then going to find everything, we made our shopping list on Click List, entered it and then went to pick up our groceries for free. Game changer!!

I don't know what is going on with this store, everytime I come in here no one looks happy, the center ailes are always crowded with carts full of products to stock, personal shoppers are also usually crowding where merchandise is. Cashiers are slow, like really slow, and they always look sad. There are a few people that work there that make the experience semi tolerable. But otherwise they need more people on the floor to help customers, as well as cashiers, and cashiers that have positive attitudes and smiles on their faces. I get better interactions with their people greeters than I do the cashiers. And the greeters and the morning service desk associates are the few reasons I keep coming back. But if its after 10am or in the evening... I drive the extra 15 miles to go to the Walmart on the west side of town.

I went to this Wal-Mart on Saturday evening, 12/28/2019. First of all there were only 2 lanes open. The cashier was very rude. He threw my bananas in a bag, I bought cupcakes from the bakery, he put them in the bag sideways, so the frosting got all over the lid. He then bagged toilet bowl cleaner and food together. Before I was able to get all of my bags off of the bag corral, he started ringing up the next customer and bagging her stuff. Never again.

OMG I hate to give WM another bad review but I stopped in there yesterday to buy some milk. On the way out of the store I walked the main aisle in front of the Vision Center and there it was. Baby excrement laying on the floor. I stood there a minute or two and watched two employees see it, walk past it, and leave without cleaning it up or even covering it up. This has to be the dirtiest poorest managed store among all the Walmarts...at least I hope there aren't more like this one out there.

Do NOT get your oil changed at this Walmart. I did a few days ago and here's the lowdown: Spilled oil all over the engine dripped puddles on my garage floor. Dirty oily handprints all over my interior and drivers side door. Price well over $55. (at the local dealership it's 10 dollars more) $11 per hr untrained Walmart employees get unsupervised access to your $35,000+ car. They failed to reset the oil-life monitor on my car. Rude workers at the counter (it's Walmart) I was the first person in line and it took them an hour and a half to finish the oil change. Go to your local new car dealer for service. They care a lot more about your car and want your business.

I took my son to this store to order his birthday cake for his party, about 3-4 weeks before the party. He picked out a really cool 2-tier paw patrol cake with edible images. There are two different paw patrol cakes that are 2 tier. She wrote down exactly which one I wanted. Fast forward to the morning of the party. They made the other cake. The one my son thought was ugly. I investigated and turned out after we ordered, the edible images printer went down. Not a huge deal but it's their policy to call the customer. Because, had I gotten a call I would have re-ordered the cake he wanted so desperately from a different Walmart. It wouldn't have been a big deal. Instead, they didn't call. They said nothing. They gave me the other cake and sent me on my way.

Matt @ the bakery was so patient with me being indecisive on a birthday cake, helpful & knowledgeable! Seemed to care about customers! Thanks Matt!

I don't know what the heck was going on on the evening of November 3rd, 2018 it was after 10 p.m. that I was there picking up a few groceries items, when I walked in I noticed the store was a MESS! and I said okay it's late at night maybe they're going to clean this up later. As I was picking up my last items an announcement over the intercom said that the store grocery aisles will be closing soon, I had never heard that before in Wal-Mart so I hurried and went up to the cash registers only 2 cash registers were open and the lines were all the way through the clothing aisles, they didn't even try to open up another register until the customers have been waiting a while. I asked the cashier what was going on and she said that she think they're going to wax the floors tonight she really didn't know, for the cashier not to know why they're closing the grocery aisles was not acceptable to me. At this moment you really appreciate that you have several other stores in Kalamazoo that you can do your late night shopping.

Terrible customer service. I waited a whole hour to receive service in the photo department. When the sales associate finally did come to help, her attitude was extremely horrible. I understand Walmart does not pay good wages but in MY opinion if you do not like your job, you should not work there!!!!

I went to purchase a video at Walmart and it was marked $19.98 and in the back the same video was marked $12.98. The cashier honored the price of $12.98 since it had been marked incorrectly. I knocked off one star because I had to walk all over store to find cashier in that department. Nice cashiers. Helpful and courteous

I usually do not shop here because Meijer is across the street. I will occasionally pop in to WM to browse seasonal merchandise but generally I do not do routine shopping here. Usually I walk in there's a greeter that doesn't say anything as people are coming in, they are just standing there. This trip, I stopped in to return a Christmas gift. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the greeter who noticed I was coming in with an item, asked if I had a return and directed me to the service desk. Then the lady behind the desk was very friendly and chatty and completed my transaction quickly with ease. This place is OK if you need general merchandise and pantry items, and on most items the price is lower compared to other stores, but I really cannot bring myself to buy produce or meat here. The quantity (size of display), quality, and variety does not even compare to Meijer. I came in for my return, browsed the holiday clearance merchandise, then proceeded to head across the street to grocery shop at Meijer. I prefer to support a Michigan-based business.

I can never understand the strife with Walmart. They are a first rate, discount retailer, and simply do a better job of it than their competitors. I like Meijer, a lot, but Walmart provides a invaluable service, and they do it well.
