Nice drinks and staff. Sinisterly disproportionate markup on drinks for choosing oat milk (an extra $1 for plant milk, when actual extra cost can't be more than $0.45). Plant milks are mainstream now, and the market will choose the fairer option. Continuing to treat them like a luxury makes Water Street Coffee Joint stuck operating in the year 2015.

And at the end I was asked to leave a tip on top of my $7.63 drink. LOL!

Lovely place, but the coffee I ordered was marked incorrectly on the menu, made wrong, and then took way too long to make so I couldn’t even ask for them to remake it due to the delays I was already experiencing. Will not be returning to this location.

One of my favorite coffee joints around Kalamazoo is water Street Willard's downtown or out by the highway on sprinkle where I live in work I seem to be drawn to the flavor of what they offer

The coffee and food here is made with love. Like a lot of other water streets, this one has very friendly and thorough staff. That being said, this spot is not going to get you your entire order within 10 seconds of you ordering it. It’s a smaller chain run by good people who care that you have a good cup of coffee so they take a little longer to prepare it. If you’re in a rush, I would suggest ordering ahead with their website and picking it up as opposed to ordering at the window. Do I think this is the most efficient thing for an advertised drive thru location? Not really, but you do get what you ordered.
However - I’ve been going there for about a year and their wait time has improved a lot, so they are trying and it’s nice to see they heard the other people mention it. Their Monte Carlo is delicious and their matcha always tastes great. Not a huge fan of their queen/ice cream frappes - they aren’t really visually appealing but they taste okay. I like their smoothies - note that these are not like Starbucks’ milkshakes, they’re actual smoothies so they’re a little crunchier. Overall, it’s a solid place to grab coffee and a bite to eat. The staff is always incredibly friendly. They don’t automatically calculate a tip and there really isn’t a place to give them one unless you tell them that you’re tipping them so remember to ask them to add one on because they still deserve one.

I spent almost 14 bucks for a large coffee and a Monte Cristo breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich was about $9 itself. When I received it, it was only half of a sandwich. $9 for a half. A sandwich is insane for a drive-thru coffee shop. That also means that my coffee is about $4. That is a bit extreme as well for just plain coffee.

We purchased the Vanilla cold coffee, and A Mango Cranberry smoothie. My son didn't like the coffee too well he thought it was bitter, too coffee. Well have to try again and make a different choice for him.
Thanks

My latte was top notch! So so good! The food on the other hand was as lacking flavor. I've never felt like I needed to add salt to my bacon before today. 😅

They closed the good drive thru they had on Harrison st but these employees are also friendly and welcoming
