I’ve seen the collective conscious of humanity fall apart in front of me, suffering on their hands and knees together in a cage of carnage and I was a prisoner of the tyranny of mass corruption; I was an individual with my hands tied to my knees, my corporeal form moved to action by strings sown into my psyche. This was my first time going to subway; I teach at a nearby liberal arts college, and i was curious after hearing that their “sandwich artists” were inspired by Andy Warhol’s Factory to create massive edible art installations. To my surprise, the “sandwich artists” were normal fast-food employees, with no director directing the aesthetics of the sandwich art-making.
