Driving through Kalkaska around dinner time and thought this food truck sounded perfect. Despite it being well before closing and their neon OPEN sign being lit, the truck was closed and no one was inside. Maybe another time.

Been eating at the Summer Gig since it was parked by twin birch and I have to say their burgers are will definitely give you a bang for your buck. Always fresh ingredients and done in a faster pass than anywhere around. if you have the time, definitely stop by they are always happy to deliver an amazing meal.
Parking: So much parking that stretches all the way down the block on both sides of the street. always a place to park and will never have to circle the block for a spot.
Kid-friendliness: Great redone open, green grassy area all around with a nice pavilion to side beneath and eat your meal
Wheelchair accessibility: With multiple family members needing this the be a necessity it’s great to know it is out side with NO stairs in sight.
Stopped in at trout festival in kalkaska. They had ran out of hamburger and chicken but were still making grilled cheese sandwiches. We had the pizza grilled cheese and the j pop grilled cheese (jalapeño popper). Both were amazing just like their burgers. Highly recommend.

Summer Gig has come to Cellar 1914 3 times this year, and the food has been great each time! The burgers are fantastic, and Molly greets you with a smile. Highly recommend.
