I never have a bad time when I visit this local bar. The staff are always friendly and personable and they deal with the influx of people that usually accompany my group after our wrestling event, and they do so with both aplomb and grace. The Kal-Ho is a northern Michigan staple for us. Their pizza is amazing. Recently had beef and barley soup there and was really happy with the flavors and textures. The service at Kal-Ho is always friendly and attentive. We've been coming to Kal-Ho since about 1999.

Stopped in on our way out from a ski trip- wow!Excellent food! I got the Cowboy Burger and it was absolutely delicious. There were 4 of us in our group, and not a crumb was left behind.The vibe is very hometown bar, always have the select locals sitting at the bar, waitress is very informal. If you're looking for great food and solid vibes, stop in!
