First time at Trout Town Tavern, in town for a weekend getaway. Staff were courteous and very attentive. Food came out much sooner than expected (that’s a good thing), and was delicious.

My fish & chips meal was tasty, loved the tartar sauce. Brisket was pretty dang good. Great portion sizes. French fries and onion rings were yummy too.
Good prices, great portions, right temperatures, and super great service. A must try when you're in Kalkaska!

Came here because we heard they served perch. Had perch, cod or walleye and you can even get all you can eat on Fridays. The perch was delicious and had no need for all you can eat as the portions were generous! Great up north Tavern vibes! Will definitely visit again!

I went to Trout town to have there ribs . Sorry to say they were not good at all . They were dry and did not have any flavor at all Was very disappointed . This place has went down hill and sure I will not return .

Great food, excellent service, and top notch management! I just had a dinner for about 20 people and every order was correct, hot, and timely! They had another party at the same time and a full restaurant and did it all with 2 cooks and a smile! Y’all are the best!
