Did an online order direct through their site. Arrived at the time provided on the confirmation. Only orders in pickup area were catering. 5 other people standing by the catering orders. Waited 15 minutes and no other takeout orders were made. At least 8 people for dine-in were served. There was no communication from front of house. The grill actually stopped everyone at one point and laid out what they needed to do - kudos to that guy. Front of house looked like chaos and I finally asked where my order was. A lady in the middle of the front counter yelled that she was getting it ready. 20 minutes past my pickup time and I was getting ready to walk out. My husband texted that the food was brought out to the car. WTH - they knew I was standing right there as I had checked on my order… Their food was good, but this poor excuse for the FOH experience will keep us away.

City BBq has some of the best food I had on 28th street. They also know how to make sure their customers are satisfied. During my last few visits I was lucky enough to have Dialo an employee who always makes sure customers are satisfied with their meal and service! Highly recommend this place.

Everything was delicious. The meats were tender and well seasoned. All of the sides had nice flavor. The hush puppies were a little too fired for my liking but overall DELICIOUS! 10/10 recommend! The man that took my order was very pleasant. There was one young lady that wasn’t very personable, but good visit despite that.

The staff was great, the brisket not so much. It was incredibly dry, and difficult to chew - updated a few weeks later, I gave them another shot, and the brisket was a bit better! Their pork burnt ends were incredible, highly recommend.

We ordered food 'to go' and had it delivered by Uber. I have eaten at this restaurant several times. This time, the meat had more fat than meat (beef brisket, pulled pork, and ribs), so we were pretty disappointed.
