I have never left a review/ however have took a look at reviews for other business but after today experience!!! did not think I would need to check reviews for Denny's due to it has been around for some time (should be well establish at this point to pick the best general manager for its locations as well as waitress!! In which I realized the most recent review here would have told me all I needed to know I currently work night shift from time to time was really craving Denny's walk into Denny's there was a older guy with glasses as well as older woman (they took a look at me as I enter) I walk to register as I waited for 8 Maybe close to 10 mins Two other gentlemen walked into to the establishment as I was standing waiting The older woman whom was sitting at the table got up to assist the two gentlemen to a seat at this time I was still standing waiting for some assistance another gentlemen enter in which the guy sitting at the table (with the glasses) walk to that gentlemen assist him The gentlemen/customer informed the guy that he needed to assist me due to he understood I was standing there first so the guy said may I help you I asked him very quietly out of respect for the gentlemen as well as the rest of those that was dining in ( I stated was you just sitting at the table -he answer YES) I told him that I was ok at this point and that I did not need service and I walked out the door (very very poor customer service) in which he was very nonchalant about the whole ordeal
I stopped along the road to make a phone call to this Denny's I wanted to receive corporate phone contact information also to get the names of the two that was sitting at the table (It was the guy sitting at the table with the glasses who answer the phone) he informed me he could not give me Corporate contact information that I should find it on the website (I said ok) as well as the names that he WILL NOT be given me those as well( I said ok) I politely informed him that his customer service was very poor (to the point where as another customer had to inform you to assist myself another customer that has being standing there patiently waiting for some minuities that I would be contacting corporate I thought he would try to make it up to me (for this was his opportunity to do so ) again very nonchalant I told him thank you so much have a good day
I did some research and found out that this was the General Manager ( the guy in which that was sitting at the table with the glasses same person in which I spoke to on the phone that refused to give me corporate information also the information of his name as well as the older woman name (waitress) he told me that he was doing a truck order when he was sitting down explanation needed as to why I did not receive service as the two gentlemen also the one gentlemen that informed him to assist myself I had to place a star to post

The waitress was rude, and the food wasn't that good. The pancakes were gross; they were bland, and the toppings inside were all clumped together. The hash browns were too crispy and greasy, and it smelled weird in there. Two meals cost 40 dollars.

Horrible service! First of all I noticed the workers standing around on their phones doing absolutely nothing while I was waiting forever at the host stand to get seated. Finally I got sat, & the server was rude, impatient & had an attitude. She didn’t even want to tell me her name. It gets even worse, there was hair in my food. I asked to speak to a manager, & the manager was very rude as well. I can’t believe I spent my money at that place. That location needs better employees & better management. I would stay far away from that Dennys if I were you. I’d give 0 stars if I could.

I had a great time here! Diana was our waitress and she was both friendly and professional! She made our night, and was so so sweet. :) And Frank in the kitchen is awesome too! He made us some great food and he’s a chill guy. The atmosphere was super clean and cheerful with holiday decorations and fun music. This was my first time at a Dennys and I would definitely come back because of these two!

FRANK IS KILLING IT!!!⭐️ We stopped in late after a concert in town, being GF and almost 11 pm my options were limited and expectations low, I took a chance and ordered the sirloin and potatoes and ol boy Frank back there absolutely killed it! I was so surprised it was cooked perfectly, and so quick, not to mention the breakfast order was also on point. The late night weekend staff here seem to know what’s up. Super friendly and we will definitely will be back to this location :)
Smells like sewage when you walk in. I should have left in that moment. The food was sogging like it was cooked in the microwave. Sad I usually like Denny's.

Amazing meal. Food was perfectly prepared. I am an absolute fanatic when it comes to breakfast food. My pancakes were golden and hot. My eggs were scrambled and well placed with my side of Turkey Bacon. Denny's staff was polite, courteous, and very welcoming. The store was not only clean but seasonally decorated. If you are in Kentwood and need a 24 hour diner to enjoy make sure you place an order with these folks. You're sure to enjoy your food and be very thankful for the hospitable dining experience. Located between the Woodland Mall and several hotel accommodations.
