I’m a server and I would never walk out of somewhere, but today I walked out after getting my food. I understand being short staffed, but I ordered over medium well for an egg on a sandwhich so it wouldn’t be too messy, and received an over easy egg on the burger. My pancakes had hair in them and when I told the manager, he didn’t offer anything, he just grabbed the food and brought out new pancakes. 2 other tables next to me that walked out with me after hearing I had hair in my food, food messed up, and we waited around 30 minutes. My brothers food was supposed to have bananas on top, and no blueberries in the pancakes, did not receive bananas on top the first go around. He sent the pancakes back and when he got new ones, they looked better, but at that pointed we were not comfortable eating there anymore. Was not the servers fault, HOWEVER, when I told my server I didn’t feel comfortable eating my food anymore, she asked if my brother and boyfriend were going to eat theirs and I said that we don’t feel comfortable anymore, she said “that’s a lot of food to be wasting”, sure 3 meals, I get that, but after the experience we had, Will not go back there again. I don’t live in Grand Rapids and was excited for some breakfast this morning. Was very disappointed.

My bestie had an amazing time with our server Felisha!! She was the sweetest and most attentive server and I would totally recommend grabbing a table under her service <3 I especially recommend the chocolate banana pancakes!

Felisha was incredible! My friend and I came in after a long day of work and she made us laugh, she was so sweet, and she really went above and beyond for us. We love her and will definitely be coming back to sit in her section

I've never left a 5 star at a Danny's ever but today, I am. The Denny's in Kentwood, MI was a very pleasent experience. Service was great. My server Dena was very attentive and kept the tea refills coming. The food was excellent. I've been to many Denny's in several different states and this one is by far my favorite. Thanks Dena and crew for making my breakfast experience a great one!
