nothing but crap honestly i've went to lots of places and i've never been more disappointed in my life. the lady who was serving us was watching us the whole time we ate and felt like we were being rushed, then there was flies on the food and no one was making sushi while it was empty. they also tried to stop us from going to our car and accused us of not paying because the lady didn't see the money on the receipt. i would never in 1,000 years go back

If I could give it a 0 star I would! The place really just needs to be shut down. The restaurant tables were nasty and sticky. There was a piece of white plastic in my rice! The food just plain out tasted old and left out. I felt like a was being watched over while I was trying to eat whatever that's in this restaurant and was staring at us talk to other staff pointing. The staff was rude very poor service!everything was so chewy like it's sat out all day. The cookies are stale as well. The sushi was so gross old and not right! The popcorn is left out like the bags were sitting out. I'm baffled! Some of the cookies were store bought, not the biggest deal but I'm paying $17 a person for this nasty food! Hair was in food! Ice cream cones are stale!

They didn't refill the crab, or crawfish the way they should've. The noodles were good and fries were good but I didn't pay $20 for noodles and fries. We also never got our waters refilled or anything, service was awful.

The food is good but the staff is rude and when I told them that my nephew was 10 years old they didn't believe him and kept asking him how old, mind u he has a autism and does know his birthday. I told the lady this and she kept asking saying he should know the year. She made him feel very uncomfortable, I then pulled her aside and she kept say no he should know. After speaking to the manager, who didn't help the situation, he then said next time u should have him bring ID. I was livid because really are u that money hunger that u had to make a child uncomfortable.

Don't eat at Fuji Buffet & Grill. I went for dinner this evening and I was never more discriminated against in my life. I am handicapped and walk with forearm crutches and I have trouble carrying for myself. I kindly asked the employee to help 2 times to carry my plate. The second time I could hear a customer mention to the employee " be nice and help him". When I turned around he proceeded to say I don't have time for this and I have more important things to do. The customer before she left stopped by my table and offered to help get my dessert. As I was leaving I tried to talk to the employee about how he could have handled that better and a lot less rudely. He proceeded to make excuses and didn't apologize. When I called back to speak to the manager about being more sensitive as a business to the needs of handicapped individuals. He proceeded to tell me that his business was serve yourself for able bodied people and if I had trouble perhaps I should hire a nurse to carry my plate. He ended the conversation by yelling at me and telling me he will make sure his employees don't help anyone like me again. The whole experience brought me to tears and I'll never be back. This isn't a business that deserves your money Grand Rapids!!

If you are looking for a place with pretty good food, good amount of variety, and a place to stuff yourself silly with Asian food, this place is definitely worth the price. They have a station for veggies and fruit, deep fried foods (chicken, and other meats), standard American Asian entrees (like beef and broccoli, different chicken dishes, black peppered beef, salmon w spices, etc), and dessert. If you want somebody to freshly stir fry vegetables and proteins for you, they have great and friendly cooks in the back right corner at the Hibachi grill. You pick your veggies and meat, and they will add whichever sauce you want and cook for you in no time. My favorite was the clams - they were so good!! Hot and sour is my favorite soup, and I thought they made it well. My friend really loved the buttered mixed seafood that came in these orange clam shells. Dumplings were also delicious. In terms of quality of food, it is good, but not great. The food were all flavorful but I felt like some meat was over cooked. The salmon were all definitely over cooked, and the sushi was alright. The sushi rice wasn't the softest. But I understand at this type of buffet, it's more like you're getting a lot of food for an amazing price. The bathroom was decently clean (which is important to me), and the dining environment was pretty clean. Overall, I would recommend trying this place. For a buffet (especially lunch), you're definitely getting a bang for the buck.

Good food but the only tree times I've gone I get the same greeter with an attitude and last time I went waiter was just standing looking at us for about 10 mins and other customers they also got upset and asked her why is she just standing there looking at them and when I told the greeter about how she was she all she had to say was "it's okay whatever"

After a stressful week of a huge moving sale and an even bigger move from Southwest Florida to North Michigan...I was ready for a night out and a nice relaxing dinner with my wife. Wasnt even in Michigan for one hour. So we found this restaurant on google. It was very close to where we were at that time, so we decided to try it. From the moment we walked in, the hostess rubbed us the wrong way. She was extremely irritated, short spoken, and apparently doesnt like her job. Add that to the cold overcooked food, and the fact that when I walked back to our table after our trip to the buffet and hibachi grill....I realized that my purse was missing from the chair it was sitting on. And the worse part was when I asked them to roll back their surveillance camera, they accused my WIFE of hiding it in her pocket and using it to pay for our dinner!!! HOW DARE YOU HAGATHA!!!

We came for the basic buffet. The web site said it would be $9.99 with 50 cents off for seniors, plus free drink. When we got there, it was $10.79, with 30 cents off for seniors, plus free drink. I told hostess about that and she just said, "yeah, the web site is old"... I got all of my choices and went to eat and found that almost all of them were lukewarm at best. I mentioned it to one of the waiters, and he couldn't understand me, so he got the head waiter, and he apologized and showed me over to the little microwave, which was a bit dirty inside, but workable. The soup was already very hot, and then my meal was too, after that. (I might not have stirred everything to find warmer food underneath). Anyway, he was very nice. They had a huge variety of foods to try. I didn't see any seaweed, which I love to eat on the side, and asked the lady behind the sushi counter, if they had seaweed, and she just said"no". My main reason for coming there was to try their sushi. I was fairly disappointed, as the sushi was fairly flat tasting and mushy, with large chunks of cucumber in most varieties. Overall, I would say "average", and not much of a senior discount. It is a bit of a drive from our home, so probably won't be back. I can make sushi better at home.

Food wasn't made with love. Rice was hard. Anything fried was too greasy. Nice people. Nice place for a buffet. I've had better sushi at a gas station. Only because the rice was hard. That's what i mean not made with love. I hope they do better. It has potential

Rude staff. If you don’t leave tip they will literally chase you and ask for tip. Food taste as if it’s been sitting there for hours , Stale , flavorless, cold , either undercooked or overcooked. Outrageous prices . Multiple people seen flies or roaches . Water is sink water . Dishes are found dirty at times.
