KFC Location 28th Kentwood right across from woodland Mall is the worst KFC in GR area I had the worst service interaction with the acting Manager Cameron Perkins who ends our conversation with you can call who you want up here it will not matter I tell the man he got. Worst customer service. Food was bad. Im never coming to this location in my LIFE thanks alot Cameron Perkins you clearly did not want to work or be there to service any customer

Pretty sure I spoke to a manager in the transaction. Was initially coming in to buy the festive bucket asked for extra crispy chicken. told me they couldn’t give that to me but instead says dark meat is the only option. Then they said best they can do is a crispy 8pc bucket and biscuits instead of the promotional deal being a 12pc and 2 sides and biscuits. I then asked if there was an option where I could pick my portions of chicken they said I’ll get the fair share of legs thighs. All of the proceedings I felt I requested was reasonable but was taken away instead they gave me a change up and had me out the door with what was entirely different I had in mind, and missing my two coleslaws on top of the takeout upon throwing my receipt away.

Best KFC I have been to in YEARS! Food was absolutely fantastic, cooked correctly, not greasy or rubbery, and tasted like the good old days.... The mash potatoes & gravy was perfect and coleslaw was very fresh! I highly recommend going to this KFC.... Thank yall for the great service and experience.

Every time I go to this KFC, it's a disappointment. I was really hoping to give them the benefit of a doubt thinking the mix was wrong the first time. But every single time, it's a disappointment. Either the oil is overused or the chicken is burnt or seasoned too much that it's like eating salt. Just go down the street to Popeyes. You'll be happier spending your money there.

When I went to order food for my family for dinner it was pretty dark outside and their light for the drive thru wasnt working for me to see the screen so it was hard to place an order, then when I got my food everything was basically burnt! I came back for them to do my order over but since it was late the manager told me to come back the next day so they can make it fresh. Im giving a 4 star because even though I experienced that horrible first encounter the manager Jasmine hooked me up the next day and made sure I got my WHOLE order over and added extra fries and chicken! If they didn't make up for that bad order then this review would of been completely different, so thank you for making it right!!
Normally they are good. Today I was told to pull forward, they gave my order to the wrong person, and when the manager came out he borderline threw my bag into my car, it was the wrong sandwich, and wrong side. Plus the sandwich looks like it was palmed by a fat hand. Unbelievable.

Today's visit was special: the young man operating the counter extended a great courtesy to the customer (an older woman) in front of me. It was surprising, immediate, and genuine and I'm sure she will be a customer for life. It was heartwarming to see. The food was certainly KFC good today, too.

Today on September 1, 2025 on a Monday evening at 4:30pm, i had just got off from a 10 hr shift. I Needed too use the bathroom and the inside of the mens bathroom was very gross and disturbing. I had to clean the seat with sanitizer and paper towel to be able to sit. On top of that there was no toilet paper & no soap to wash my hands. i had too go ask for toilet paper at the front counter. I came out and there was a coworker or manager, idk who he was, but he had glasses on and the way he was responding to me was rude and felt like he was rushing us and every response sounded like it bothered him the dining area was also very dirty. As soon as i got the food, i was displeased with the presentation of how they served the food, and my husbands food looked like everything was just thrown in the box. The biscuit was broken like my heart and the original two piece chicken was not fresh at all, it was soggy. the mac n cheese was also not served as it was supposed too be. The coke machine ran out of coke and it didn’t even taste the coke. the way the guy responded to me as if he didn’t care on top of that its so dirty on the coke machine tray its accumulating on the edges. I don’t usually do reviews but i had to because i was really upset with the service and the store was so slow they could have had somebody clean the bathroom and the dining area. I used to work at a fast food restaurant as a shift manger at Popeyes and I understand it can be exhausting but there is no excuse not to get things cleaned and have the the area organized, especially while its a really slow day they are able to stock up an clean. I also noticed a coworker in the back making his own sandwich to eat but was licking his fingers back there that was unsanitary and its cross contamination. Im afraid to eat there again the food probably is contaminated due to how long its been sitting there soggy.
This whole experienced has tainted my views of fried chicken and i probably wont look at the colonel the same way again…
