SCAM'S CLUB
On 8-16-23 3:30PM, I stood in line for 30 minutes for new membership. Sam's promotional flyer says "Become a member for just #25 after savings". After taking all my information, they tell me to pay $85 - because it's actually $25 off regular membership of $110. "Read the fine print. That's what fine print is for" said the arrogant AnnMarie at Sam's on 28 mile Rd in Kentwood, Grand Rapids. When I tried to get clarification, she says "I'm trying to help you understand" and simply calls the next person in line. Cheats employing Arrogant staffers to scam the public. This is what Sam's has become. I terminated my membership 5 years ago and thought I'd give them another try for $25.
How can such misleading ads be legal? How do incompetent people like AnnMarie work in customer service and call themselves Manager!
Zero Stars. This store is on its way to Bankruptcy. Quality of employees they hire or are able to keep is often early indicators.

I ordered food to be delivered yesterday. Asked that they text me any substitutions and requested to meet the driver at my door (rather than have them drop it off with no contact.) They dropped off an order with about $129.00 of refridgerated and frozen food on my porch, in the hot sun (85 degrees) and never texted me to let me know it was there. It sat out there for 45 minutes before I knew it was delivered (email was sent 20 minutes after delivery, no text was ever sent.) THEN, I chatted with a very rude guy on their customer service site, who eventually after 20 minutes told me I had to call the store. I called the store, and was told that I had to call the 888 number. I called that number, and they said I had to call the store. This has all taken about 45 minutes. I called the store again, and asked for a manager (I was told I'd be on hold for a long time if I wanted to talk to a manager. I requested they leave a message for a manager to call me back, of course nobody ever did.) I will be putting this message on Google Reviews and Yelp. Horrible service. Very dissapointed and out about $130 because the food was melted and warm when I finally found it on the porch.
