My husband went to this location to get 2 buffalo chicken wraps. We specifically asked for extra chicken and extra buffalo sauce since they are really skimpy when putting it on the wrap. He came home with the wraps and both (not just one) had absolutely no chicken. Not only that but the wraps when given at the Tropical Smoothie Cafe were not even warm. On top of that the service was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. He waited 15 mins for the food and literally they have children with no food service experience working there. I called to talk to someone to explain what happened and waited on the phone for 5 mins with no answer. I then called again, and same result. I then waited 30 mins and called again (within their hours of operation) and no answer along with waiting 5 mins. Never again will we go here. They really need to get better management and staffing. If I could add no stars I would.DO NOT GO HERE!

This is a good TSC. I've ordered for take out and also dine in. My orders are made correctly and on time, and the people are friendly.
Only problem they have is nothing to do with the restaurant -- it's that Google Maps has them located in the wrong place and even though I request Google update it, it never is. I keep wondering if the TSC franchise tells them my correction isn't right. Google doesn't navigate even close the right place, though. You can't even see the TSC from where Google takes you.

Went to tropical smoothie today April 26, 2025. I ordered a Bahama mama smoothie with extra white chocolate. I asked them to make it thick for me. Another thing I ordered was the three cheese chicken with salt and vinegar chips got home and noticed that the tomato basil sauce Was barely any in the container. Also, as you can see on the Photos, my three cheese chicken was just thrown in the cardboard box without the proper tissue holder underneath also was just cheese minus the chicken very disappointed in this location. I normally go to the location on 28th St. and Micheal in Wyoming Michigan but I decided to check out the one farther down 28th St.in Kentwood Michigan. The line was super long. The weight was horrible and my food was absolutely not prepared like it should have been. Tropical smoothie you have the potential to be great in this Location. I’m not sure why the servers are not serving the customers with grace and making sure the orders are properly prepare as they should be and another thing, the cashier would not allow me to use my points to get my discount. He said that they point machine wasn’t working so I wasn’t able to use my points. Also he said that my phone number wouldn’t work and wouldn’t allow me to use my points either which I think is absurd. I feel like he was being biased. He just didn’t want me to use my points, which is Very unacceptable!! But smoothie was made to perfection was very delicious

This place is awesome! I came by last minute on Friday right at the very edge of close and although everything was shut down, the manager made sure that I got my favorite smoothie! Definitely come here and look for the man with the red beard 👨🦰 - it’s Fire! 🔥💪

This location 28th across from woodland mall is the worst Tropical smoothie! The employees here do not care to make your order correct
Service is EXTREMELY slow for a low traffic location, sometimes when I come to this location it take upwards or 15 minutes to get my food, even if it’s ready sitting on the counter. The turnover and customer service is what’s lacking. Will be dining elsewhere

Caribbean jersey chicken, was very cold, I have always ordered this sandwich but this is unexcepible. " not heated or even put in the microwave. Beans,meat,rice, we're very cold, did someone miss a step, or maybe they weren't trained correctly, who knows! The is very disappointing and unexcepible.

The associate working the window was rude. Stopped in before work and waited 20 minutes for a quesadilla and smoothie. (Mind you I was literally the only person in the drive thru) after getting the team members attention and asking about my order she said “are you sure you haven’t gotten your order yet?” And rolled her eyes at me. After asking if I could just get my order or a refund, she finally brought my items to the window, to find my food just laying inside the bag out of the box. Very disappointed, and I NEVER leave bad reviews but this experience was pretty lame.
