Nice place. Took 15 minutes to get drinks tho. It was busy at 3pm but that's just too long to wait for drinks on a 90 degree day. Sushi was mushy and fish was B grade. It was a Saturday. I eat sushi all over and review and so am picky but on average im not going back to this joint.

My favorite sushi takeout in town. Service is always fast. Even on their busiest day, the longest wait I had was 40 minutes and that was on a super busy day where there were lines outside the restaurant. On a normal day, the wait for takeout is only about 15 minutes. Food is fresh and great for the price. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting fast, good, and affordable Japanese food.

I got food poisoning from here. Full body hives and a swollen face, had to leave work and had me barfing and in bed in pain for an entire night. I ordered Salmon, Calamari, and Soft Shell Crab. All things I have ate many times before at other sushi places. I used to work at a sushi place and I order sushi all the time. Either the fish was bad or the prep stations were not properly cleaned.
I want my money back for my suffering but uber eats will not refund me. Don't blame the driver because my work is less than a block away. If my order is not refunded I will go to my bank to have it refunded, if that doesn't work I'm calling the health department and going in store to make a ruckess about you almost killing me.

My family has a lot of dietary needs. This is my go to place for sushi and hibachi. They have a very wide variety of gluten free options. Amazing choices for those of us without dietary sensitivities. Great pricing and great quality. Wait staff are very friendly.

My family and I went Saturday 6/14/25 to celebrate my brothers birthday and had Emily for a server, she was great! However, Sunday 6/15 my brother and I woke up with food poisoning. My Cali roll tasted sour and the salad tasted funky. This is the second time my brother got food poisoning here. I’m not sure what caused it because other family members are fine.

I decided to try a new sushi place in Grand Rapids, Michigan. My server was Emily and she was very friendly and attentive. She made pleasant small talk that made me feel welcome and at ease. I saw the barista making a coffee drink and she said they have an espresso machine. It was a very good latte. I ordered the Mrs. Salmon which come with 5 pieces of Salmon Nigiri, 1 Salmon Roll, Miso Soup, and a House Sesame Dressing Salad. I also ordered the Ikura (salmon roe) Nigiri. The salad was sublime. 5 star Dressing. The Miso was adequate but the salad more than made up for it. The sushi was a good deal. Big cuts of fresh fish and lots of it $17. The Ikura was fresh and a good portion $8. Total was $31.80 and I felt this was a good value for such a sushi feast. Great atmosphere with full bar. I will be back. I recommend this place.
