Could not have imagined a better place for a wine tour and tasting! We came not knowing what to expect and our experience was more than we could ever imagine. The wines are SO good and knowing the work and love that goes into every bottle makes it so much more enjoyable! Nick gave us our tour and Olivia helped with scheduling this trip! Thank you SO much WaterFire Vineyards, we will never forget this experience!
We visited WaterFire Vineyards for their
La Cena Italiana event this evening. Every course and wine selection felt thoughtfully crafted and full of flavor! Both pastas were tasty, but the lemony malfaldine was perfectly done. And the semifreddo trifle was the perfect/balanced sweet treat to end the meal.
One of my favorite parts of the dinner was how intimate and interactive it felt. The chef (Maria) took time to explain each dish, and one of the winery...

Beautiful setting to sit and enjoy Northern Michigan. Their estate wines are wonderful and the owners explained how they are grown naturally and organically. Bottles made great gifts for our friends downstate that don’t know how good Northern Michigan wine is. Owners were super nice!
