FOOD AMAZING..SERVICE TERRIBLECame to enjoy a nice dinner with my significant other and right from the start the server just seemed very annoyed we ordered our drinks and appetizer brushing it off as we were waiting he was walking around huffing and puffing then dissapered for a while eventually came back to ask if we were ready to order asked for just a couple more minuets which just seemed to annoy him seeing how he let out another huff before walking away. Once food was brought out he forgot to bring knives which is something you shouldn't have to go back and get when bringing out steak and lamb. He then disappeared for a long time again making us unable to ask for the knives we needed and drinks empty. When he did come back we just ended up asking for boxes and after everything he hovered around the table when we were signing the check. We didn't end up tipping as after paying $100 for a meal the service should at least reflect the price. Once we got in the car to leave our server then comes outside and flips us off....after the terrible service we just got he shouldn't have expected much

Typical restaurant that wants to be an expensive restaurant, but only is because of there pricing. I'd rather go to Mortons for the price/quality ratio. Low quality food, and small servings, no ambience, interior looks like bad 90s decor, service was ok but waitress was new and inexperienced. Crab legs were not fresh and definitely frozen, t bone was overcooked and not well aged. But I think the biggest upset was my wife's ice tea was more than my beer, $11.50 for 2 iced teas because at $5.75 you don't get a refill. Seems a bit ridiculous, mgr said costs have gone up sorry about your luck. I have no problem paying for quality but for a $150 meal for both of us I was not impressed at all. I'd advise heading south to the city and passing this place up.

Disappointing Service and Unpleasant AtmosphereFood:The steak was undercooked at medium rare vs. the medium we asked for. Although it was very delicious it was simply not what was requested. The salad was very lacking and nothing impressive for the price. Crab legs cooked to perfection.Service:The service at this establishment left much to be desired. Our server was consistently rude and impatient, making our dining experience uncomfortable. They seemed more interested in rushing us through our meal than ensuring our satisfaction. Moreover, there was a lack of basic courtesy, with staff members reaching over us to clear plates without asking if we were finished. It felt like they were more concerned with turning tables than providing quality service. We even had to endure the discomfort of having staff members' armpits in our faces as they reached over us, which was truly unpleasant.Atmosphere:The atmosphere here was quite disappointing. The dining area was uncomfortably chilly, with a noticeable draft that made it difficult to enjoy our meal. The attempt to remedy this with a space heater only made matters worse, as it emitted an unpleasant odor. Additionally, the restroom facilities were not well-maintained, with dirty floors and a lack of paper towels. Overall, the atmosphere did not contribute positively to our dining experience.In summary, while the food may have been acceptable, the subpar service and unpleasant atmosphere greatly detracted from our overall enjoyment.

The food here is AMAZING!! It's on the pricier side, but you get an entree, 2 sides, and fresh baked bread. The service is great and atmosphere is really nice. It's a great place to come for a special occasion. Highly highly recommend Darrel's!

They dip their steaks in gravy. Make sure you read the menu because I didn’t expect my steak to have gravy on it. My fault for not reading the menu better but who puts gravy on o steak? Two people… $300… for trash food., the people were really nice so I feel bad for saying this but it’s an honest review of the food. The crab legs were fine but I ate them at home because I was over it eating there. The margaritas got me through the night and they are not high quality either. It was a Friday night at dinner time and it wasn’t crowded so I shouldn’t be this surprised…

Love the takeout chicken dinner! It is affordable and comes with good portions. The chicken is great, with great mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, and amazing bread rolls. Comfortably feeds 3 people.

Been here many times and tonight by far worst experience Julie was the server and she was absolutely horrible very rude took her for ever to take order and almost over an hour to get our food and cooked wrong. Lettuce wedge looked old and very small. I’d rather take my business to long horn THANKS

My entire family loves Darrels. We usually eat here 2x a week- one of their family meals during the week as carry out and sit dine in on the weekend if time allows. Hands down the best steak, my husband compares all other steak to theirs. My daughter loves their chicken Marsala and fried gnocchi. I love their steak mushroom soup and crab cakes... And Pretty much everything I've tried! We come here all the time and the quality and service is always consistent. Absolutely our favorite place... Near or far! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
