Solid local restaurant and bar. They always have daily lunch and dinner specials. Friendly service, can get really crowded at times, but that's a great problem to have.
The Frickles are incredible. The Pulled pork mac & cheese was delicious. The jalapeño Pepper jack burger was perfection. Don't pass on the sweet potato fries with homemade maple dipping sauce.

Lake City Taphouse provides tasty food, and at my last visit, we picked up salads to go for part of my Grandmother's birthday dinner. Quality salads are tasty!
We’ve hit this spot for dinner twice on our way to Deer Camp in Kalkaska, this time we even hit it for lunch on the way back. Great food and service every time!

Our group came in after hunting on Friday, wait wasn’t bad but our server cassie was very short and rude, our beers sat empty most of the night. She only cared to pay attention to the regulars, we have Been in other times and received top notch service from other servers. I know it was busy but she spent a lot of time attending the table next to us and their beers were always full. We ended up at hammers Saturday evening instead.

I’ve been to this restaurant many times and the food is always great. Last week I had ramen which was a special. It was hands down the best ramen I’ve ever had - so flavorful with bacon pieces like pork belly and marinated eggs. Just incredible!
Very fast service despite how busy it was when we went (Saturday night). Food was well above the average for bar food and drink selection was impressive. Gonna come back here for sure!

WOW! We had the best service we have ever had at a restaurant/bar tonight from Glynn! Amazing, super attentive, and pleasant, we could not say enough about her service not to mention the amazing food! She needs a huge raise!!!

I am usually pleased with LC TapHouse. Today was a major let down. We drove 30 mins for their Friday fish fry, getting there well before karaoke at 8pm. Upon arriving we were put on a waitlist and told approximately 30 mins maybe less (no big deal, food is worth the wait), they took our number down, and we told the lady (I believe her name is Jamie) we would be sitting in our truck in the parking lot to wait. After sitting in the truck with our two young children for 45 min and watched multiple groups of people enter, we finally went back in to check the status of our table to find out our name was crossed out. When the hostess came up to help us she said the woman who wrote our name down said she called us and we said we no longer wanted a table. We never received a call. We were able to get a table right away but found the woman that initially helped us (later found out she is the bar manager) sitting at a high top table with customers unable to be found by staff. The service has been less than impressive our last couple trips. Server Robbi continues to go above and beyond to assist us even if we are not seated in her section.
Update: At the end of our meal they did comp our appetizers for the wait mixup. It was a good effort to apologize.
