We stopped at Lake City Taphouse on our way to Munising, MI. Our trip was not going so great and we needed a break. The outside patio was not scheduled to open until 4:00 PM, but Mike, our server, said he would be happy to serve us outside. The weather was beautiful and since we had been cooped up in cars for hours, we were quit grateful that he was willing to open it up early. Mike was so attentive and welcoming. We had 2 children with us and our two year old was not feeling particularly good. Mike continued to be just as helpful while we tried to figure out what to do for her. Before we left, he filled all our water bottles with ice and fresh water. I almost forgot to mention we ordered cocktails and beers. The cocktails, Paloma, Blueberry Gin Fizz, Peach Daiquiri, and Strawberry Daiquiri, were all delicious. I would recommend any and all of them. If you are ever in or passing through Lake City, make sure you stop by Lake City Taphouse.
