Fresh mozzarella was really good. We tried a few pizzas. The Spanish was very good, the fig made it somewhat a dessert pizza.
Waitress was very attentive and had a fun personality!

There web page and FB said they were open , we got there it was closed
Very disappointed, went 40 minutes out of our way to try the place
Never wasting my time again
Pumi was a great server! Quick to smile, give recommendations, and offer insights on food and drinks. Would come back to see him! (And eat the risotto!)
This was some of the best food we ate in Traverse City.

Not a fan, very disappointed to drive 45 minutes to get there and I was expecting much better. The food and drinks just average and prices are high. Specially my cocktail was bad, limoncello martini. Very artificial and tastes like Jarritos soda drink. The salad was just like the ones you can get at Olive Garden. Nothing special so was the pizza.
The server was very nice young lady and very attentive ( none of this was her fault) Atmosphere was boring, no music. They definitely need to improve.

Unenjoyable.
Had the whitefish, bland and a bit overcooked. Lobster ravioli (didn’t seem to have any lobster in it) very thin and tasted like it was frozen.
Crabcake tasted like nothing but lemon and vinegar.
Ordered garlic baguette for an appetizer. I had to remind the server, after I finished (sent back most of the plate) of my entree.
Garlic baguette had an overwhelmingly and overpowering taste of Asiago cheese. Very disappointing experience.

Appetizers and main course both had too much vinegar. Sadly not good food at this place and it took an hour for the main course to arrive. The garden setting is lovely but I won’t go back.

The food itself wasn’t bad, but the overall experience was disappointing. We had a 7:30 reservation, yet didn’t receive our meals until around 8:45. The staff did not come across as friendly or attentive, which made the long wait even more frustrating. While the food had potential, the service really took away from the evening.
First visit. Ordered to go but can't wait to go back in person. VERY nice place, great service and food. It's a lovely restaurant inside and outside dining.

Being born and raised here in Traverse City, I love when new restaurants start up. This was our first time at Nittolo’s, and let me tell you, it certainly won’t be our last.
The staff is super friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. We had Connor at the bar, and Tom gave us some of his favorites when we looked through the menu. Connor had close to a full bar, while staying on top of running food and slinging drinks. Friendly, awesome guy, killer accent. We started out with the fried mozzarella, and then added the mussels as a last minute appetizer, as well. Both absolutely delicious.
Connor told the couple next to us that one of his favorites on the menu is the Alfredo with chicken, so I took him up on his suggestion. I added the garlic baguette as a last minute addition because come on…ya need it for the sauce, am I right? We also got the cheese pizza. Alex won’t stop talking about how tasty it was, and I’m looking forward to digging back in to my pasta.
I love seeing new small businesses busy, and successful. I certainly see what all the hype was about, and we can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.

Service was good. Had a Ceasars salad for 5. The salad was drenched with dressing. I would have expected the salad to be prepared at the table for the price 3 pasta dished served without bread. The pasta dishes were nothing special. I had the Walleye dish that was very over priced for the serving. Being from Michigan and consumed plenty of walleye I would expect a more plentiful serving. There was a problem with the table next to us so the employees turned the table over and began working on it as we ate. Would not visit this restaurant again.
Jess was the best server we’ve ever had. After an hour drive, we had a very cranky toddler. Jess went above and beyond to make him happy, including leaving the restaurant to get him chocolate milk. She was attentive and awesome! Food was delish, my husband loved his sea bass special!

Honestly, the only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because the outdoor seating is SO uncomfortable! Everything else is top notch, but those chairs are killer!

My wife, 5 young children, and I went to dinner here last night to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We had reservations and were seated on time outside. They brought the kids a cup of blueberries and cream as soon as we sat down which was awesome, it was 7pm so we had some hungry kids! Our waiter was great, the food was great, oysters-pizza-lamb-fish. Charismatic owner was cruising around greeting and checking on everyone, which is always nice. Probably the best dinner spot on the peninsula. Afterwards we had a scoop of ice cream down the road at capital dog and made it down for a sunset at good harbor beach. Great evening!
