Although I have had better espresso at other coffee roasters, I still found it to be good. The service is absolutely wonderful here and it is a very cool place. Those last two mentions are why I would definitely make the long trek back out here again. Highly recommend.
White Pine Coffee Roasters is a hidden gem just off Lapeer Road, right by the Pollyanna Trailhead. The space is very roomy, with an awesome vibe and, best of all, onsite roasting.
The pastry selection isn’t the main focus, but what they do offer is worth trying. We had an almond crescent, and they offered to warm it up—a small touch that made it even better.

Let's start selfishly with a little about me - I grew up in this area, lived in Chicago and now reside in Brooklyn. I have had access to all the best coffee shops, toured roasters and haciendas and am generally enthusiastic for a good cup of coffee.
