Elias Ferreyra of Theoretical Tech recommended I try this place. It was delicious I got the falafel sandwich and lentil soup!

Great no frills Mediterranean restaurant. Had the Aladdin's Feast and it was delicious. Hummus and salad both good as well. They didn't have Lebanese Cheese when we visited which made me sad. We would go back.

A staple in our household. I'm normally a schwarma person, but without fail, the falafel sandwich is always my go to. It's so crunchy and fresh tasting! The pickled turnip is the jewel on top. The lentil soup is a huge comfort when it's getting chilly, and the hummus is creamy and well seasoned. Great pita, chewy and filling. The meats are also delicious. Once in a while I'll get a smoothie and they are always delicious. Grape leaves? 10/10. Huge fan of Aladdin's! Thank you for being here!

I came to Aladdin planning to order several dishes, one of them being kibbe. On the menu, the kibbe was listed at $4.99 with no quantity specified. Naturally, I asked the waitress, who seemed new, and she told me that the price was for one kibbe. I was shocked, because not long ago an order came with three pieces.

Wanting to confirm, I asked to speak with someone else. A man came out, already looking annoyed, and from the start his tone was unwelcoming. I politely greeted him and repeated my question. He confirmed that it was indeed $4.99 for a single kibbe. I told him I was surprised, since it used to be three, and that the price seemed extremely high for just one piece.

Instead of giving me a reasonable explanation, he responded with an incredibly rude and dismissive comment: “Well, gas used to be 98 cents a gallon. This place has been here for 30 years.” That statement was irrelevant, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. I wasn’t arguing—I was simply shocked by the drastic change. He then added, in a nasty tone, “You can order it like that or don’t order at all, I have to get back to the grill.”

That was enough for me. I left immediately and went to Ozzy’s, where you can get 4 kibbe for $6.99, or to Sultan’s, where one kibbe is fairly priced at $2.50. Aladdin has not only priced themselves out of reason, but more importantly, they’ve shown that they don’t value their customers.

Because of the unprofessional and disrespectful way I was treated, I will never return to Aladdin—and I strongly recommend others think twice before wasting their time or money here.

Aladdins has the best humus around, never gritty always smooth. I always take a large quantity back home with a full bag of Detroits finest pita bread. Kafta kabobs with the garlic sauce are a must have.

Really good food, but it wasn’t fun getting shoved out of there at exactly 9 PM because they were closing. Real nice customer service folks.

The food was great. I really enjoyed the smoothies as well. Plenty of options to choose from, and everything on the menu looked good. Definitely try the grape leaves. The portions are very generous for the price.
