“My husband and I have been going to The Ocean Crab for over a year now. We’ve never had a bad experience there. The staff is friendly, the food is always delicious, and they just added to their menu which was also amazing. We tried the Tonkatsu Ramen and it was amazing! The pork roll was perfectly cooked, there were plenty of vegetables nestled into mix, and the broth was rich and felt like comfort in a bowl. If you’re looking for a really good seafood/Asian/Cajun mix of food, this is where you should go!”

“Love this sweet book store. Great selection of books for readers of all ages and genres. Staff will help you find what you’re looking for, and if they don’t have it, they will order it for you, or you can easily order online from their website and go pick it up when it arrives. Cafe has a variety of beverages ranging from coffees to flights of wine to cocktails to unwind. There are also snacks, baked goods and heavier fare if you are more than a little hungry. They have events during the week, they change it up quite a bit. Plenty of seating to catch up with a friend, do a little studying, or just buy a book and get lost in it. A lovely addition to the area, really glad it’s here.”

“Noosh has a lot of unique food and is worth checking out! ? I had a pleasant experience there today. I was recommended by a friend, and intrigued by their unique Afghan cuisine. The host was super friendly and answered all my newbie questions. I got the Qabli Plow because I wanted to try something on the traditional side—just for the experience. And I enjoyed it! My palette would probably prefer their chicken shawarma or new lamb shawarma, as I tend to like very prominent flavors and spices. However, the Qabli Plow was indeed flavorful and honestly a nice change to the kind of food I usually eat. Definitely interested in returning to try some of their other menu!”
“Your typical BBQ spot. It's a big space decided in several sections. Music is usually heavy metal, primarily Iron Maiden. Lots of artists work decorate the walls. We stopped for lunch and there were few people grabbing food as well. Service was friendly and fast. Place was clean and entertaining to take in the art on walls. Food came out fast from time of order. There are trays with about six different BBQ sauces and ketchup on every table. It was good, nothing memorable to go back for.”

“I pointed Babes out to my boyfriend recently and mentioned we should try them out soon as the menu looked so tasty. He surprised me today with an order to try out a few of their sandwiches: the Betty, the Margaret, and the Fran. My first comment is on the size. He ordered halves, with the thought that they would be smaller sandwiches that would be just a couple bites for us to try. We didn’t realize that it was half a sub! But we powered through, because after one bite, there is no way we weren’t going to try all of them. Literally, some of the best sandwiches either of us have ever had in our lives. So much flavor, the perfect bun, and everything was obviously put together with so much thought. The Margaret in particular was my favorite; a little bit of heat and a tad sweet. So glad to finally tried Babes out, and so thankful to have a new Lansing favorite! Highly, highly recommend.”

“This unique spot is located in an interesting area. There were bookstores and theatres all attached. The brewery itself was a really beautiful building. They have a mug club that they partnered with the pottery place next door. The beers were delicious and we really enjoyed ourselves. They participate in hop passport so it's a great deal. They also participate in tagabrew. So we grabbed a couple tags and were on our way to the next stop!”

“Went with my wife for dinner and got there early for dinner I’d say around 5. There was only 2 other tables being used and we were sat in a tight 2 top right next to another couple, despite the restaurant being pretty wide open. Kinda weird but got over it and asked to move to another 2 top table and no problems there. Fried green tomatoes were delicious and served with a great chow chow and pimento cheese! My wife had the duck which was just ok, gamey and a bit over done for us. My scallops were fresh and came with a great sauce but were definitely over salted. The highlight for me was the smoke bird cocktail, a must have for mezcal fans! Service was a little slow considering it was again, pretty quiet. This is all pretty nit picky but after 2 drinks a piece, an appetizer and 2 entrees if I’m paying over $180 I don’t wanna have any issues like I mentioned above.”

“The last time I ordered from Jose's was amazing. The food is ALWAYS fresh, ALWAYS hot. Delivery is fast too. When I ordered previously, the chocolate chip cookies were missing. (The main reason why I ordered is because I was craving those chocolate chip cookies.) I called and let the restaurant know, and they tucked extra cookies in my order the next time. Even the door dasher said, "And don't worry, the extra cookies are in there!" LolVery nice people and a great place to grab food in Lansing.”

“We are from out of town and here for a tournament and needed a place that would hold about 20 people. They said they had a back room so we went. When we pulled up my heart sank a little. The place is not at all what we expected. I felt like it was moldy smelling when we walked in but someone we were with said it was probably the smell of the beer making process so i can't confirm or deny that information. Most of the teens did not love their pizza but the adults thought it was fine. The paninis were decent and the spinach artichoke dip was good. If we ever came back to this area i would basically just come for their house made beers and ciders. They were excellent. The mixed berry cider was not sweet at all and I really enjoyed it. Their homemade soda was great too. My kids mixed the cream soda and orange to make a creamsicle. That was delicious. Service was good and they checked up on us even though you order from a counter so that was nice.”

“The best McDonald's I've ever been to. They make the food correctly every time, and not just what I ordered, but the way it's supposed to be made. The Quarter Pounder patties are absolutely delicious and well seasoned. Some McDonald's locations I've been to are terrible, but this one is amazing. The staff are understanding and quick to act on the very rare mistakes. One of the staff here suggested adding espresso shot to the Caramel Frappe and it's one of the best coffee beverages I've ever had, out of any fast food restaurant or restaurant in general. The best coffee comes from here.”

“I went here with a group of maybe 12 and they were great at accommodating a group of our size.The food was what you'd expect from a breakfast diner: a variety of savory egg based options and then the sweeter side with pancakes/waffles, french toast, etc. I shared two dishes with my partner: the Greek omelette and the stuffed cakes. We got the larger order of the cakes (3), and I was happy to have only half of the stuffed cakes because they are more like dessert for breakfast (oh so good with whipped cream and all). That said, it would have been a bit much for me even after I had been on a 5 day bike ride. The omelette was great and the coffee refills kept flowing consistently.Would definitely go back!”

“OMG...This place brings you back to when the world used to be normal, people were happy, families connected over going out to eat, and things were affordable. An old old-school pull-up, order, car-hop type place. Comparable to Olympic Broil, but a little better. If Nip 'n Sip was smart they would play up on their uniqueness, rather than changing to become more like the garbage of the 2020s. Granted, the prices are trending higher, but still a great deal. The food is beyond DELICIOUS, portions are great. I've tried the olive burger, chili burger, chili cheese-o fries, fried mushrooms, and the Hammy Sammy. All are perfect, good portions, delicious as hizhell, just AWESOME!!! Love this place, I would eat here every day if I could (it would be an olive burger and something else)!”

Was fortunate enough to meet Jose and am impressed by everything he's put in to Tantay. Cannot wait for Tantay's full-sized restaurant location to open in Okemos. My wife's breakfast taco was exceptional while my sandwich was mediocre at best. It was really busy when we went and that could be a reason. The drinks were good but wish that they had more beers available. Will try again in a few months to see if things have changed/improved. Would still recommend as the staff is really friendly and caring.”

I swing into coffee shops all the time when I’m on the road and give employees of coffee shops and cafes the opportunity to make whatever they want and have creative freedom. I’ve swing into this location a couple of different times but the last two times I’ve been here have prompted me to make a review. The barista Josh know how to make a coffee. It was a mocha cold brew with white chocolate and mint. It was so good I thought about it periodically throughout the week until I was back into Lansing for the day. The customer service of this store is amazing too, Sophia is who I talked two the last two times I visited. this is a store with two highly rated employees. These two definitely deserve recognition for the quality of work they carry out.”

The carpet was strewn with detritus, our table had two big smears of grossness, the wall adjacent to the table was just covered with splotches of who-knows-what, the little biscuit plates might not have been washed at all with crumbs and grease on them, my drink glass was visibly dirty - and you could feel a good layer of greasy muck on it, even the windows were dirty. Our server did a good job, though she really should've noticed the unclean plates and such. I would've talked to the manager lady about all the dirt, but she didn't stop by our table. Oh, and my fried fish wasn't cooked well - rubbery/chewy instead of flaky.**Original review - Hey, it's Red Lobster. This one is pretty clean.
