I honestly can't think of a single bad experience I've had at this location other than a long drive thru line and that's just a testament to their excellence. I swing into coffee shops all the time when I’m on the road and give employees of coffee shops and cafes the opportunity to make whatever they want and have creative freedom. I’ve swing into this location a couple of different times but the last two times I’ve been here have prompted me to make a review. The barista Josh know how to make a coffee. It was a mocha cold brew with white chocolate and mint. It was so good I thought about it periodically throughout the week until I was back into Lansing for the day. The customer service of this store is amazing too, Sophia is who I talked two the last two times I visited. this is a store with two highly rated employees. These two definitely deserve recognition for the quality of work they carry out.”

We are a family of two adults and one child. We can’t stop. Our kid wants this for his birthday, and this will be our go-to contribution for parties.
Everything tastes real, not artificial. Texture of both cream and crust are spot on. Exceptional flavors have been turtle, lemon, strawberry shortcake and peach cobbler. Check out their website for special, limited flavors. I’m told they may bring the peach back; perfect for Thanksgiving- fall flavors but with a bit of brightness.”

there's a pleasant atmosphere when I arrive there in the early morning hours. However, currently my only complaint would be the self-checkouts. I don't like them. And as long as there are LANES I don't see why I need to checkout at them But when I'm ready to checkout invariably I find ALL the lanes are unattended, chained-up, un-lit and after standing with a full cart near a lane for a few minutes I find myself having to look around for an attendant who would be willing to open a lane for me ! You'd think Customer Service would feel some customers would appreciate checking out at a lane especially when they have a significant amount of groceries ! I personally don't think that's too much to ask ! If the store presents both options--please allow both to be available to the customer ! And be mindful of the fact that not all of us customers prefer using the SELF checkout ! Thank-you !”

“I've been looking foward to trying Carrie's Kitchen for a while now and it did not disappoint! I had the pot roast with mac and cheese and yams, while my boyfriend had the junk burger. Both the meals were delicious! We also ordered a chicken wrap but we were so full that it ended up being a great lunch for work the next day. The owner was so friendly and easy to get along with, that he made the atmosphere feel like I was right at home! I highly recommend giving this local restaurant a try!”

My friends and I had some issues with our coupon not scanning properly, but a manager (Summer, I believe) came over and put the discount in by hand for us. Overall, the service was great and the food was just what I wanted!”
