The People’s Kitchen is my favorite restaurant in Lansing. The chef is phenomenal! There is a variety of delicious entrees for everyone.
This was a great experience. Food, cocktails and service were super. Menu was inventive with lots of flavor. Would definitely recommend.
Food was fantastic and we sat outside as the noise level inside is quite high. Our waiter was great. The only issue we had was the food took over an hour. Hoping that was a fluke - we will be back again to see!

The food is consistently delicious, from the fluffy and moist pancakes with rich butter syrup for breakfast to the crispy chicken and waffles for lunch, which is some of the best in Lansing. The restaurant also provides Brix sodas and a variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch, brunch, and dinner. Customers have praised the phenomenal food, including the amazing lamb shank that falls off the bone and the best duck confit ever. The quality of the food and service makes it worth the cost, despite the higher prices.
