“My husband and I just celebrated my birthday dinner there this evening. We both must say it is an extraordinary restaurant with the best steaks we have had in the Lansing area. All the sides were fantastic as well! Service was exceptional and they are all so kind. We highly recommend this place!!“

“This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Lansing and the folks who run it are wonderful! They have the best garlic sauce in central Michigan and it comes with pita. The food is always always always fresh and delicious. I am not related to anyone there and I have not been paid or compensated in any way for this or any other reviews I may have given for this restaurant. I honestly just love their food and it never leaves me feeling cruddy. I have digestive issues sometimes from restaurant food and I always feel great after eating here. There is plenty of parking and plenty of seating inside. They have yummy desserts as well. Now they have an amazing Lunch Buffet for around $15.00 and it’s a great way to try things you may be hesitant to try. It also includes salad choices, soup, hummus and their garlic sauce with pita!!! “The food was delicious and everything we ordered tasted amazing! Our server was amazing but I wasn't too fond of the manager walking around yelling at all his employees who were busting their butts trying to provide the best service to the customers. I've worked in restaurants for about 10 years now and I know things can get frustrating during dinner rushes. But being the owner of the restaurant and treating your employees so poorly while you have customers trying to eat isn't ideal. I watched this guy yell at all his cooks and servers. Also was rude to a server about a chair when they didn't know said chair wasn't allowed in the outside seating area. I really hope this manager takes the extra steps to pull people aside and be discreet when addressing something instead of causing a scene like we saw tonight. Other then that, we enjoyed this restaurant and the food!“

“I’m from out of town and I asked my buddy where can I go for food burger and not chain. He recommended nip and I wasn’t disappointed. I got the double burger combo with their homemade root beer. Great combo. Not a sit in restaurant. You buzz and they’ll take your order. Very classic. Great service with smile.“

If you’re looking for a Lansing restaurant with amazing food, outstanding service, and genuine hospitality, I can’t recommend Piazzano’s enough. “The best Cuban cuisine in the area by far! We tried multiple menu items: sandwiches, empanadas, Papas Rellenas, and even the french fries. They were all excellent! “We came for the food since we do not drink, but if you like IPAs this place has a lot of great stuff and a great setting. Plus the male Bartender was nice. But like I said we came for the food! It was very good! My husband had the Olive burger and fries and said it was excellent. My daughter had the kimci fries which was a huge portion and looked so good, she loved them but did say they were a little spicy. I had the Brussels Sprouts Vegan and they were so good! I also have the kalamata Olive vegan Bread was a little to salty for me, I think it was the garlic salt in the everything seasoning. I would order it without that on it. I'm excited to try their other vegan options!“
