“My husband and I just celebrated my birthday dinner there this evening. We both must say it is an extraordinary restaurant with the best steaks we have had in the Lansing area. All the sides were fantastic as well! Service was exceptional and they are all so kind. We highly recommend this place!!“

Our server was amazing but I wasn't too fond of the manager walking around yelling at all his employees who were busting their butts trying to provide the best service to the customers. I've worked in restaurants for about 10 years now and I know things can get frustrating during dinner rushes. But being the owner of the restaurant and treating your employees so poorly while you have customers trying to eat isn't ideal. I watched this guy yell at all his cooks and servers. Also was rude to a server about a chair when they didn't know said chair wasn't allowed in the outside seating area. I really hope this manager takes the extra steps to pull people aside and be discreet when addressing something instead of causing a scene like we saw tonight. Other then that, we enjoyed this restaurant and the food!“

“We came for the food since we do not drink, but if you like IPAs this place has a lot of great stuff and a great setting. Plus the male Bartender was nice. But like I said we came for the food! It was very good! My husband had the Olive burger and fries and said it was excellent. My daughter had the kimci fries which was a huge portion and looked so good, she loved them but did say they were a little spicy. I had the Brussels Sprouts Vegan and they were so good! I also have the kalamata Olive vegan Bread was a little to salty for me, I think it was the garlic salt in the everything seasoning. I would order it without that on it. I'm excited to try their other vegan options!“

“Best fried rice, egg drop soup, and general tso in town. 90% of the time we go, the owner is the only one working. She is always kind and attentive to the customers in the restaurant while taking orders and dealing with door dash orders. If she misses a call for a takeout order, she even calls them back. “The Big John's Cheese steak is better than any Philly Cheese steak in Philadelphia. Trust me, I've been to Philadelphia and tried all of the original places from Gino's, to Pat's, to Tony Luke's. Flint just does it better. Just have to be honest here. It's best to get a super with extra cheese and green pepper cooked into the meat.“
