I honestly just love their food and it never leaves me feeling cruddy. I have digestive issues sometimes from restaurant food and I always feel great after eating here. Now they have an amazing Lunch Buffet for around $15.00 and it’s a great way to try things you may be hesitant to try. It also includes salad choices, soup, hummus and their garlic sauce with pita!!! “I ordered the Prime Rib which I have missed out on for about 3 weeks. It was just that it was all gone by 6:30. So this time I went around 5. I am writing this be because you had the audacity to serve me a salad with lettuce!!! The waitress asked which type of dressing but I told I didn't want the salad. Hmm I guess she didn't hear me. Plus the baked potatoe was okay but way over cooked and the prime rib was medium rare and i asked for medium!!! I guess the new owners are doing things there way!!“

Our server was amazing but I wasn't too fond of the manager walking around yelling at all his employees who were busting their butts trying to provide the best service to the customers. I've worked in restaurants for about 10 years now and I know things can get frustrating during dinner rushes. But being the owner of the restaurant and treating your employees so poorly while you have customers trying to eat isn't ideal. I watched this guy yell at all his cooks and servers. Also was rude to a server about a chair when they didn't know said chair wasn't allowed in the outside seating area. I really hope this manager takes the extra steps to pull people aside and be discreet when addressing something instead of causing a scene like we saw tonight. Other then that, we enjoyed this restaurant and the food!“

“The best Cuban cuisine in the area by far! We tried multiple menu items: sandwiches, empanadas, Papas Rellenas, and even the french fries. They were all excellent! The customer service was exceptional. We received a thank you note with our order. We will be taking our family back soon! Definitely visit La Cocina Cubana, East Lansing!“

“We came for the food since we do not drink, but if you like IPAs this place has a lot of great stuff and a great setting. Plus the male Bartender was nice. But like I said we came for the food! It was very good! My husband had the Olive burger and fries and said it was excellent. My daughter had the kimci fries which was a huge portion and looked so good, she loved them but did say they were a little spicy. I had the Brussels Sprouts Vegan and they were so good! I also have the kalamata Olive vegan Bread was a little to salty for me, I think it was the garlic salt in the everything seasoning. I would order it without that on it. I'm excited to try their other vegan options!“

Even though there were only three tables, including ours, the service was a little slow. We had ordered an appetizer and two entrées, it took more than 20 minutes for the bruschetta to be served . It was excellent. The side salad arrived shortly and entrées quickly after that. In fact, almost too quickly, as I hadn't even touched the side salad when the entrees arrived. The entrées were very generous, contain fresh ingredients, and were delicious! We had the Fig salad with chicken and the pork loin. We will definitely return and I'd like to try their weekend brunch.“
