“We had a wonderful dinner with our daughter for her birthday. The mac and cheese was perfect for our picky eater son and our daughter loved that everything on the menu was vegetarian, instead of her having one or two menu items to choose from at most other restaurants. They even welcomed us to open gifts there instead of in her dorm room. We will definitely be back when we're in town again!“

“Enjoyed a snack and the street side dining experience at Pablo's outdoor seating on a weekday afternoon. Only 2 tables total, spaced far apart, glad to use one. Initial service was prompt. After my first bite, I realized I wanted hot sauce and was curious about their homemade blend. But I didn't see my server again till she brought me my check, despite her taking care of the other table's needs. However, my first al a cart chicken tostada was so delicious, I decided to order another one! With house made hot sauce on the side. I had to dab it on with a fork it was so spicy, couldn't use the spoon it came with haha! It was also tasty, not just hot as ?. Delectable food, pleasant atmosphere, mostly good service. “I haven’t been here in years. My girlfriend was craving some bbq and we decided to venture 18 minutes across town to head here. Mlk was closed so we had to drive through genesse neighborhood, but was it worth it. I don’t like to take pictures of peoples food cause it doesn’t usually do it justice when you find good food. Kayla and our kid shared a pound of brisket and baked Mac and cheese and macaroni salad. Hands down the best brisket that I’ve had in the area and the macaroni salad was insane. My kid said it was the best he’s ever eaten. As for me I opted for a chicken banh mi, everything was fresh and just what I wanted on top of the chicken being excellent on an excellent roll. We sat there with linh and talked about food as I also am in the industry about how her store used to be a phone store and me doing breakfast in the food truck. I highly recommend this place, she works by herself and cares so much about the food. Just like I do. It’s great to find another person and place like this“

“EDIT: My review won't change, as I am only commenting on my experience at this location/on this day/at this time, however, I would like to make note of the labor disputes. Owners need to pay their workers a fair wage, treat them like the human beings they are instead of tools for profit. After the settlement, I hope the future is bright for the employees at every location and that they receive the respect they deserve. Consider stopping by for lunch, and tip your server well; a fat tip is always a way to support the people, not the company.

ORIGINAL: My friend and I came in at 4pm. Sammy was incredibly kind and quick to greet us. We were seated right away. The train car is a severely overlooked highlight. I've seen some complaints that it is too tiny, to which I say: you have never been in a train. Tables are close together but I would not describe it as close enough to share food with the other patrons--some of you are bitter and overdramatic.

The service was incredible. Sammy was attentive, quick to take our drink order, quick to get our app order in, and let us rest to decide. She has a natural sense of when to approach the table, providing friendly service without overwhelming patrons. She was incredible, and really sweet!

The food was insane, in the best way. The everything pretzel bites came out fresh and hot, and we savored every bite. The provided dips complimented the savory flavor of the pretzels very well. I ordered the mac and cheese large plate, which was reasonably priced for the amount I got. It was rich and creamy, but not overbearing--which I greatly appreciate in a mac and cheese. My friend got the grilled cheese (apple, gouda, honey sriracha, and bacon on sourdough), he described it as a well balanced flavor explosion. Although he enjoys grilled chicken sandwiches with mayo and cheese (?), based on his description: "it's tart and sweet with the apple, smoky with the bacon, rich from the cheese, but rounded out by the tangy sourdough," I feel I can trust him this once.

If you're skeptical because of bad reviews, ignore that mess and give this place a try. Order what sounds new and fun and you won't regret it. (We didn't get drinks this time around but I recommend Blake's Cider Mill Donut Cider!)

“Hong Kong Restaurant serves delicious and authentic Chinese food. And, they have many vegan options. I had the best Mapo Tofu I’ve had in years. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food, this is your place!

“Let me preface this with the fact that I travel all over the state of Michigan for my job. I swing into coffee shops all the time when I’m on the road and give employees of coffee shops and cafes the opportunity to make whatever they want and have creative freedom. I’ve swing into this location a couple of different times but the last two times I’ve been here have prompted me to make a review. The barista Josh know how to make a coffee. It was a mocha cold brew with white chocolate and mint. It was so good I thought about it periodically throughout the week until I was back into Lansing for the day. The customer service of this store is amazing too, Sophia is who I talked two the last two times I visited. this is a store with two highly rated employees. These two definitely deserve recognition for the quality of work they carry out.“

“My first visit was this time last year while doing some contracted work in Lansing, and I was eager to return while here for the same again today.

Loved the Strawberry Hibuscus Ale; I enjoyed a couple, with one essentially a freebie courtesy of the Hop Passport. I'm glad they are still participating it in.

The olive burger and sweet potato fries arrived quickly and warm. Good stuff, though the fries were a little overly crisped.

The peach-drizzled cheesecake also hit the spot.

I am on food stamps and don't have any way to cook food where I'm at. She helped me find a way to get some healthy things to eat using my food stamps. This way I wasn't stuck eating the same nasty garbage you usually get when you're poor.“

“I am rating BIGGBY's Island Bear Latte .It has caramel, vanilla, coconut, and expresso and it's become my new favorite! The taste is delicious and if you love coconuts and a refreshing drink that's not too sweet, then this is the one for you! I always get it iced, with light ice and whipped cream. I love that the whipped cream has caramel drizzle on top! My previous favorite was the Sugar bear and Butter bear lattes. I love to get my lattes with chocolate covered expresso beans or doughnut holes. I would recommend BIGGBY coffee to my friends and family and if you sign up for the rewards card, your 13th drink is free!“
