“try the yum-yum roll you won't be disappointed haven't been in a while so was kind of mad they didn't include the soup and salad anymore unless you asked for it and it was 1.80 a person and prices have def went up. I've went there and got 10+ rolls and never paid more then $150 today was way over that. so that was sad as well, but nothing can beat the taste of that yum yum roll.“
“Definitely one of my favorite spots around the mall. Everything I've had has been tasty, and you can definitely eat your money's worth for the all you can eat option.Yakitori's a personal favorite and I don't think I've ordered a round of food without one any of the times I've gone.“
“I’m a little torn on this place! My sushi roll (spicy California) was delicious! No complaints there. Very good. My Miso soup was in desperate need of salt though.. very bland because of that. Usually I’d just put a little soy sauce in it to fix that, but that leads me to my second complaint. You only get 1 packet of soy sauce here and they charge you for more. So I gotta deduct a bit from the score for that. This place could easily be a 5 star spot, but those couple issues are holding it back.“
“Austin always does an amazing job. It's actually crazy how much he can get done by himself! Sushi is always delicious and app/roll come out just as you'd expect them to. Remember hibachi guests to book a reservation, but we generally just get dine in sushi.“
“Our family had dinner at UNI Sushi & Ramen in East Lansing tonight. My new-to-sushi husband liked the Oshii the most. I really loved the Pikachu; it's now my favorite flavor ? My daughter ordered 2 plates of the California rolls, one for dinner, one for second dinner lol.We weren't fans of the rice, although it was the perfect amount of bland to round out the big flavors of the sushi. However, we fought over the wontons and their dipping sauce ? Definitely enjoyed the food, left stuffed, and appreciated the clean, fully stocked, family friendly restrooms. ?“
“This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in quite some time. The size of the restaurant and the decor were just right. The menu is beautiful and the food looks as perfect as they do in the picture. The menu is full of love. The passion that you crave is deep within the food. I promise you can taste the love and drive to serve the people in each expertly placed piece of product on your plate. The price is also exactly what I want to pay for this meal. I will be back again and again. Thank you so very much. I’m grateful for what you do.“
“Recent dinner was very slow, but good. Garlic edamame, house salad, and miso soup very good. Sashimi sampler and stop drop roll were solid. Bibimbap and bulgogi were flavorful. Unfortunately the Food was great, but overshadowed by glacially slow service throughout the meal - not just the fresh sushi prep that is expected.“
“Felt like we stumbled across a hidden gem. The atmosphere was very welcoming; the owner made connections with each of his customers while we dined in. The food was phenomenal, and I continue to dream of the seafood pancake to this day. Everything was amazing, Thai tea, Kim chi (seriously, I don't even normally like Kim chi, but yum! ) & beef noodles. Cute place.“
“My sister was a regular at this restaurant when she attended MSU. She let me know to check it out and I have to say the food did not disappoint. The spicy tuna roll tempura and the crunchy munch 2 we're amazing. The chefs were unable to cash me out due to a language barrier, but once the cashier was available I was able to get my food and leave in order to enjoy it ?!! I look forward to my next trip back to Lansing and of course this restaurant. I may dine in next time.“
“I came in from California to visit family and we went to this AMAZING restaurant! California is known for good and fresh sushi but it has nothing on this places sushi! It was so fresh and delicious!!! The service was attentive, friendly, and top notch! The owner even stopped by our table a couple of times to say hello and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. One of the top 5 restaurants and experiences I've had! Bravo to this place!“
“This place has really good sushi at a very reasonable price. I had the tempura appetizer and DJ roll. They were both delicious and HUGE. I had enough left over to take home for another meal! Parking can be found behind the building, either in a pay lot. parking garage or street parking.“
“I went to eat by myself as I was staying overnight for work. I walked in and was greeted by the host. I was able to be seated immediately at the bar. The restaurant had a very nice ambiance and I don't think it would have mattered where I sat as the wait staff seemed to be very attentive to everyone. I ordered miso soup which came out fairly quickly. I then ordered a sushi roll. Both were wonderful! I would definitely return as it was great food and service!“
“I loved this place until I got this bowl (see photo). I ordered a pickup but didn’t notice that the store was closing soon, and ended up picking up 40 min after they closed ( the online order receipt said the order would be ready after their business hours actually, but I did arrive late so it’s my bad anyway). I really appreciated that this staff waited for me while closing the store. However, I was very disappointed when I opened the box. It seemed they ran out of many items (including the proteins) and made my bowl without any replacement items.“
“Everything thing I've eaten here is great: tempura, spring rolls are nice small size, delicious variety if sushi. Great prices. Clean, minimalist dining room. Takes a little while for the food but it's all freshly made and worth it!Dietary restrictions: My daughter is pregnant and we asked they use clean gloves and surface to make California roll so no contact with seafood. They were very accommodating.“
