“Visiting the area for work. I ended up working late and was craving noodles.

The place has a nice store front and the inside is a little small but has an intimate feel. The staff were very on top of everything. Getting drinks, orders, refills, checks, smiles, etc. Like clockwork. I had the Mountain Roll and the Nabeyako Udon. I like the Mountain Roll best of the two but both very good. Will say, on the normal menu, you may have to ask what certain things are. Very lottle descriptions, compared to the sushi menu, that's very detailed.

You do get a feel of being rushed when you are there though. It's a small place, so I understand they need to rotate tables in and out otherwise it would be very congested here. The staff are not pushy by any means, but you get the sense when you should probably get ready to go. Otherwise, good place to bring a date and would recommend anyonebl ooking for a good sushi/noodle place.“

“Had the opportunity to stop into this restaurant for a photoshoot and sampled the Shrimp and Vegetables as well as the Drunken Noodles, both fantastic!

Owners Mike and Nani were friendly, welcoming, and had food prepared very fast and piping hot.

“I have been to Shiro more times than I can count, I need to leave them a review!

I’ve been going here over 15 years and it is still consistently as delicious and amazing as the first time I went!

The food is fresh, I eat mainly only raw and have never gotten sick.

Their crispy calamari is delicious as well!

I love their ginger dressing too!

I love this place so much, it is now 2/3 of my kids favorite restaurant! They treat my children so kindly, giving them children’s chop sticks, and even asked them if they wanted to sit upstairs!

They have something for everyone. It is not only sushi. They have steaks, chicken, noodle dishes.. all I have had through the years has been awesome!

The only thing I miss is the Buffet they used to do once a year, and the smoked pear margarita! 😉“

Tonight, 3/14/26 I had spicy miso ramen. Which was spicy without being too much, and featured the standard ramen addins [charshu, fish cake, and egg] instead of seafood which seems common in many spicy ramen dishes. Again, the sushi and entrees my family ordered were well received. Sushi Den also has really tasty miso soup, which seems an afterthought in many Japanese restaurants.“

Because the restaurant is dark, I was unable to see that it wasn't really fresh. I would go back but not order any salads.“

“I have been to the Kura in Novi and the sister store near Big Beaver. The Novi location did not offer any of the fried items. Bummer on this visit. (except for popcorn shrimp)
It is a novel experience, fun. The food is good too. You can order food from the app as you pull food from the revolving delivery system. All the food is plated one or two small pieces on a covered plate. The cheese cakes are delicious and the butter cake is just as wonderful. It is not all fish so you can get steak selections as well. With every 25 plates you get a prize. It can get expensive. (about 3.50 plate) it is easy to get caught up in the excitement of it all and over eat. Location in Novi seems a bit smaller than the other one. Both are clean with friendly staff.“

“I hosted my important Korean guest to Detroit for about one week and brought him to this place two times, my clients and myself were very satisfied with all authentic food which were not too much sugar or salty, my clients clearly want to come to this place at next visit.
