Shiro isn't your typical restaurant experience. Housed inside a beautiful old mansion in Novi, it has a unique atmosphere that's full of character. Our group of 10 was seated upstairs on the second floor at a large table, and the setting made the meal feel even more special.

Beautiful experience. I was very happy to return it back to Shiro restaurant, after 23 years.... The food is always excellent !! The atmosphere amazing.... My wife and daughter where impressed, as it was their first time.... My daughter was impressed by the story of the ancient owner, and the ghost dwelling the house.

The tempura was outstanding! It included a wonderful variety of vegetables, including onions, sweet potato, red and green peppers, broccoli, asparagus, yellow squash, zucchini, and a few others I couldn't quite identify. Everything was perfectly cooked with a light, crispy batter that wasn't greasy at all.
