“Shiro isn't your typical restaurant experience. Housed inside a beautiful old mansion in Novi, it has a unique atmosphere that's full of character. Our group of 10 was seated upstairs on the second floor at a large table, and the setting made the meal feel even more special.
The food was excellent, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality. As the evening went on, the chandelier above us flickered a few times. Was it just old wiring? Probably. But I prefer to believe the mansion has a few friendly ghosts adding to the charm. 👻

“This is the most consistent and delicious restaurant I’ve ever been. It is one of the first restaurants I’ve ever visited after moving to the US 20 yrs ago, and it holds a lot of good memories. The quality of food has always been great since day one. A bit bummed that they are take out only now. But I am happy that it is still open and I will always pay a visit whenever I’m in the area.“

“Don't let the dated interior fool you; the sushi here is phenomenal! The rustic, old-school charm just makes the exceptional quality of the food stand out even more. “Very much a Japanese conveyor belt sushi experience. The sushi is exactly what you'd expect in Japan from a similar establishment. Slightly small but plentiful and well made. Waiting reservations can get out of hand here and drinks can be slow to arrive.“

“Inside the Atrium building, no sign outside. So worth it! Delicious food, very patient staff, super kind owner.
We had the Korean BBQ buffet, a bit of a learning experience, but loved it. Cooked at the table, authentic Korean foods. We'll be back!“
