“I have been to Shiro more times than I can count, I need to leave them a review!
I’ve been going here over 15 years and it is still consistently as delicious and amazing as the first time I went!
The food is fresh, I eat mainly only raw and have never gotten sick.
My favorites are..
red tornado
Salmon on the beach
Angry Mikey
Cancun
Red dragon
Spicy tuna
Their crispy calamari is delicious as well!
I love their ginger dressing too!
I love this place so much, it is now 2/3 of my kids favorite restaurant! They treat my children so kindly, giving them children’s chop sticks, and even asked them if they wanted to sit upstairs!
They have something for everyone. It is not only sushi. They have steaks, chicken, noodle dishes.. all I have had through the years has been awesome!
The only thing I miss is the Buffet they used to do once a year, and the smoked pear margarita! 😉“

“Don't let the dated interior fool you; the sushi here is phenomenal! The rustic, old-school charm just makes the exceptional quality of the food stand out even more. Combined with an extremely friendly and welcoming waitress, this place is a total winner. Incredible food and great service; I loved it and can't wait to go back.“

“I have been to the Kura in Novi and the sister store near Big Beaver. The Novi location did not offer any of the fried items. Bummer on this visit. (except for popcorn shrimp)
It is a novel experience, fun. The food is good too. You can order food from the app as you pull food from the revolving delivery system. All the food is plated one or two small pieces on a covered plate. The cheese cakes are delicious and the butter cake is just as wonderful. It is not all fish so you can get steak selections as well. With every 25 plates you get a prize. It can get expensive. (about 3.50 plate) it is easy to get caught up in the excitement of it all and over eat. Location in Novi seems a bit smaller than the other one. Both are clean with friendly staff.“

“I hosted my important Korean guest to Detroit for about one week and brought him to this place two times, my clients and myself were very satisfied with all authentic food which were not too much sugar or salty, my clients clearly want to come to this place at next visit.
Thanks BiBimBab and nice serving.“

“This is mine and my son's favorite restaurant of all time, my Grandma introduced it to me years ago. Best sushi I have ever had. It doesn't get more authentic than this. The people are very warm and welcoming. Prices are great. The Maiko soup is sooooo good. I consider it a huge blessing to be able to enjoy the food from this restaurant. Thank you!“
