Very good food. Not dine in.
I have only been to this place five times. Every time I’ve gone, the food has been excellent.
What I really like about this place is that they are raising a tight family, actively caring about their community, AND making good food. In the five times I’ve been there I’ve seen them do some really super kind things for folks. Kind enough, that I drive 30 miles to make sure that I go back to that place whenever I want Chinese food.
Great for consistent standard americanized chinese food. Perfect for take out or delivery, staff is dedicated to getting your order right. Other shops in Lansing tend to be less consistent. Their General Tso's is excellent.

Based on reviews, Asian Gourmet offers great food with large portions and reasonable prices. The crispy spicy chicken is especially delicious, and the rice is the softest ever with perfect soups. The staff is fast, friendly, and kind, often offering suggestions and help with orders. However, some reviews mention issues: the crab rangoons were overcooked with barely any filling, the beef lo mein had hardly any meat, and one order was not ready on time. The place is not much to look at and is not a sit-down restaurant. While many customers recommend it and return often, one reviewer found the food just edible and would not go back.
