“Love this place, and the food is always great. Unfortunately tonight our waitress was very slow and when we got there asked for our drink order, she got my wife’s drink but then went and got 8 waters for two different tables then stood behind the bar chatting with another server for at least five minutes. Then finally brought me my beer. So understanding she was busy/slow at getting drinks I ordered appropriately. Our friends were leaving asked for their check we told her we were staying but brought us ours too. We paid it but told her we wanted two more waited 15-20 minutes she never came back so we left.“
“A nice little pub with an amazing selection of beverages on tap, even in cans/bottles. The tables might be a bit wobbly but a comfortable casual drinking and conversation pit I will enjoy visiting in the future. Thanks to Kathy for a wonderful first time introduction.“
“Can't believe that I've lived in the Lansing area for 54 years and tonight was my first time here. Did try to go a few years ago for the Friday Fish fry but it was too busy. Went tonight for the Olive Burger and it did not disappoint. Tried a bit of the Greek Burger and that's what I'm getting the next time thru! Very cool place. Clean and well run. Service was pleasant and quick. Gotta put this place in the rotation! Lansing classic!“

“Was there for drinks w/friends, turned out it was trivia night, so we joined.The guy running it seemed to have short man's syndrome. Were on the last question, had turned in our answer & we were done.I looked @ my phone & he announced that our team was disqualified, because I looked @ my phone. It's not like we could change our answer, which was correct... BTW.Bar booed him, but he didn't change his mind.Otherwise a fun evening.“
“We had a reservation tonight that we showed up almost an hour early for & with twice as many people & we have never felt SO welcome. The drinks were fantastic, the food was top notch, & the service was *chef's kiss*. 10,000,000/10 would recommend!“
“The place had no more than 10 people which made it nice to meet up with some friends. I ordered what was supposed to be a blackened chicken sandwich and there was no Cajun seasoning on it. The chicken was cook perfect, just missing the seasoning.“
“Friends, my wife, and I thoroughly enjoyed the place for dinner last night. ALL food was fresh and very well prepared. Service was also excellent. Grilled chicken dinner was everything I’d hoped for and same could be said for wife’s Nachos and friends’ burgers. I’ve paid more and gotten less even from places with good reputations. Place looks good but is a tad loud for my old ears.“
“This is my girlfriend's and my favorite place to go. Everything about it is comfortable and tasty. Highly highly recommend for any age range.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm a wheelchair user and it is super roomy to move my powerchair around without feeling like I'm bumping into customers or waitstaff. “What a great place with great food and great service. Came in around 8:30 PM with a group of eight following a graduation at MSU. Met the Manager who toldMe they close at 9:00 but they would stay open for us to order food. We were able to have a few drinks, appetizers and sandwich which everyone agreed were excellent. Anna I believe was her name was our waitress and she was excellent.“
“The atmosphere was amazing. We were seated right away. Our food came out fast. Our waitress was friendly. The only issue was the Nacho supreme wasn't that great. Cheese was a bit burned and the meat was pretty dry. Everything else we ordered was great!“
“Henry's was one of the first places we went to have a beer and some food upon moving to Okemos. It is a standard bar eatery. The service is personable, polite and always entertaining. Their menu holds up, with options for all eaters. They have very tasty food at a respectable price. Don't forget to have some oysters, as they are both tasty and great with a cold beer. The ambience is straight forward and wide open. It's not a quiet place, but it's a good place to meet people and have a transient conversation while enjoying good food and drink. They offer some screens with sports and great people watching. I recommend Henry's Place for a great experience in Bar Americana.“
“Fun fact about Moriarty's: they host jazz bands on Tuesday nights, and for that I love them. Ok, I'm wildly biased by the jazz offering. The pub itself is super divey, hole-in-the wall. Opposite of upscale. Drink and food selection are not great. But the staff are really kind and responsive, so that helps.“
