Panera Bread in Lansing

“Panera bread co. Is amazing. They have fresh in-house bagels and deserts. Their deli meats are fresh as well as the veggies used for the sandwiches. Always happy to enjoy the bread bowls with soup. I highly recommend the cheddar broccoli in a bread bowl. Excellent staff and quick service.“

“The baked goods and soups are usually great. When I use the app my order is always ready when I arrive. Never once have I been greeted by the staff on pick up, no Hi or passing thanks when I grab my bag and make eye contact.

The real thing that brings my score down here is because panera drinks are the worst things that have ever happened to the drink world. They are never good, they are bland, weak, and generally unpleasant. The frozen strawberry lemonade tastes like the blended a sad strawberry with a lemon that thought it was water.“

“I always get excellent food at Panera's and this time was no different except for the appearance and the cost. The new Italian Steak & Mozzarella Sandwich was not a total disappointment but darn near. The seasoning of this sandwich is to die for but when I pulled the package out it looked different than advertised on the menu. I expected a sandwich, not a half a sandwich. If I were to have cut this sandwich in half it would have looked like finger sandwiches. And the steak was barely there. Everything else was good..the cheese, the tomatoes, the lettuce and the seasoning (which is excellent by the way) but for $15.96. Just saying and I'm not buying again even if the seasoning is good! Panera might want to change the picture on the menu because it is misleading.“

Still, the quality and ambiance make it worth it occasionally.“
