“I'm not from MI, but I'm staying for a week and was looking for vegan places to eat. I stumbled upon Veg-N and gave it a try. There is no dine-in so do keep that in mind. I just placed our order on their website, and within 15m it was ready! Pulled up to the drive-thru and was met with lovely customer service. We were offered on the house cookies and oh my they were amazing. Got home and unpacked the food to find little peppermints and handwipes in the bag!! I finished my Reuben in 5 minutes it was so good, the patty was soft and juicy and the kraut was perfect. The chili fries were great too - maybe a little sweet for me, but my friend said they were just right for her. Only thing I could ask for would be glaze on the cinnamon roll but I didn't expect any. Just wishful thinking. Overall, great place. The people seem lovely, the food came out fast, and it tasted amazing. I'm only here for a few more days but I will definitely be back, it was just that good. If you like burgers, fries, cookies, or cinnamon rolls you need to check this place out - vegan or not you will love it.”

“Our first visit to Pho 777 was exceptional! We found this place online, wanting to try someplace new. We started with two different types of spring rolls with peanut sauce. The peanut sauce was some of the best I’ve had. The entrees came out at the perfect time - I had Steak Pho and Mark had the Spicy Pork and Beef. The flavors - so many, a true flavor explosion! There was nothing disappointing about either one! Service was great and the food was top notch. We will be back!”

“fantastic customer service. literally had my order ready for me 3 minutes after i placed it while they were clearly busy dine in and drive thru. this place doesn’t make excuses, they have team work and go above and beyond to help you. they don’t hire just anyone. they actively ask if you need any extra sauces, other places just don’t put in that effort. seriously appreciate you guys. especially the manager with the curly ish hair idk his name!”

“I ordered noodle soup to take out. The food was very well packed, and the portion is big. I had to mix the noodle with soup in the biggest bowl I can find at home. The food is fairly priced compared to other made to order restaurants in the area. I will definitely bring my family to try other items on their menu the next time we dine out.”

“My wife and I stopped in to give Altus a try, and we were not disappointed. We got the Meat and Veggie Feast for two. We don't do spicy, and were able to get a non spicy coarse. The chicken was delicious, and the seasonings were perfect on everything. I also got the strawberry smoothie, my wife had the Ethiopian coffee and both paired well with our meal. The Injera bread it is served with is unique in it's own way. Perfect for tearing and picking up portions off the plate. It is also served on the bread so you can take pieces off of that to enjoy the seasoning. The waitress was amazing, she was answering our questions about the food and was very welcoming to the establishment. We are going to hit them up for their breakfast menu this Saturday. They made fans out of us. :)”

“We stopped into Breadsmith while visiting family from out of town. We grabbed some pastries and banana bread for our family. We had a wonderful experience talking with the owner. As we were leaving after checking out he grabbed one of his most popular bread loaves (Michigan Cherry Walnut) and gave to us so we could try it. It was so incredibly nice. Will definitely be back when we return to Michigan!”

“I want to thank Terry at the Okemos, MI store for saving our family Christmas! I got there ten minutes after the store closed and I was devastated. I got on my phone to check their hours. To my surprise, someone answered the phone! When he found out I was in the parking lot, Terry came and let me in so that I could buy the ham for our party. He had to turn the lights on and reopen the register, but was nothing but friendly and cheerful! Many employees wouldn't have even answered the phone, but Terry went above and beyond. Thank you for making our family party meal a success! (By the way, the ham was absolutely delicious!)”

“Very clean restaurant. Most attentive staff I've seen in a LONG time. I walked in on the phone and they still greeted me. I didn't respond right away because I was kind of stunned. They were very nice and the food was delicious.”

“delicious food, big serving size even without buying double meat. two people can share one teriyaki special (their best dish) I see too many people wasting their money at panda express when yum japan is right here. yum japan's chicken is cooked right in front of you hibachi style, so it is always fresh. The hibachi guy also asks if you want extra sauce, i suggest saying yes because it is delicious!”

“This is my favorite Chinese spot in the area. The menu is huge, lots of choices, and everything I've tried has been delicious. The food is always hot and prepared fast, the portions are generous, the works are friendly and polite, I really have nothing bad to say about this place, I do recommend to go because there is only one dine-in table, but otherwise, this place has a regular rotation in my house, everyone likes it.”

“Jersey Giant Okemos went above and beyond to help me fix a large sub order I mistakenly placed for the wrong date and time. As it was my own error and the timeline was really tight, they were under absolutely no obligation to help me fix it, but they did and were incredibly kind about the whole ordeal. They were courteous, understanding and the subs were fantastic! So thankful for their top notch customer service and will definitely be back!”

“Please check your orders before you taste. They mixed up our order and gave my daughter a peanut butter smoothie instead of the Sunrise sunset that we ordered. She is highly allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. She took a drink and immediately spit it out. Hoping we don’t end up in the hospital tonight.”

“We stopped to get coffee on the way out of town and a donuts for our daughter who was sad about having to leave. Finn took our order and quickly changed the whole mood of our car. It went from sad and stressed to light-hearted and happy. He went above and beyond for all of us and gave us customer service that is rarely given anymore. Our coffees and donuts were perfect as well. If you are looking for great coffee and amazing customer service this is the place and Finn is your guy!”

“First time going to Savvy Sliders. Went to the one in Okemos, Mi. We loved it. Best Chicken Fingers around. The employees are really nice. Even asked how our food was while we were still eating. Said let me know if there is anything I can do for you. You don't get that other fast food restaurants. We definitely will make the drive to come back. The food is worth it. “Great experience! First time here and we will be back when visiting our daughter at MSU. The staff was so helpful and kind, and the place was CLEAN. My only suggestion would be to add more meat to portions, felt very light. But the tortilla is very good.”
