We stopped into Breadsmith while visiting family from out of town. We grabbed some pastries and banana bread for our family. We had a wonderful experience talking with the owner. As we were leaving after checking out he grabbed one of his most popular bread loaves (Michigan Cherry Walnut) and gave to us so we could try it. It was so incredibly nice. Will definitely be back when we return to Michigan!

Breadsmith is a community favorite with fresh, amazing bread and goodies. The cinnamon swirl is perfect for French toast and the espresso chocolate chip is a great pairing with coffee. The owner keeps prices low and donates unsold bread. The staff is helpful with recommendations. The dark rye, sourdough, and Middle Eastern loaves are top-notch and reasonably priced compared to other stores. With convenient parking, Breadsmith is a treasure trove for specialty bread lovers.
