I will only come in to this location when she is working I have given the morning staff many tries and they just are not as friendly nor passionate about the food service, coming from someone who put 7 years into food I understand the frustrations but you gotta know how to put that face one. “There was a little bit of a wait, but that's expected at a truck stop. The place appeared clean but they were out of napkins that people got to paw through sitting on the counter. The associate behind the counter did not know how to use our coupon, but they were able to get it entered after a couple minutes. Both sandwiches were quite tasty other than they were very stingy on giving you sauce or dressing on your sandwich. We had asked for more three times as the amount was definitely not enough for a footlong.“
“I have to say I love subway and the one at the South Penn Meijer and the one in the 5500ish block of Cedar are the worst ran places I have ever seen. I will leave a review for the Cedar street one soon. So I go to this one and rarely have an issue.“
“Did not get the woman's name who was working. It was a little before 4:00, and I stopped with the girls to get subs. The woman was very pleasant, and appeared to know a lot about Subway. Informed me that there's never been a sub shorter than 12 in, and that real tuna is used. She was pleasant, and efficient. She made the subs as ordered. Very good employee!“
“Service is sometimes hit-or-miss but most of the employees have been at this location for over a year. I usually place large orders with my co-workers via the Subway app and the subs have always been ready by the time I arrive for pickup. The staff has been kind enough to call me a few times when there was a problem with an order. I also picked up a very large catering order from this location with no problem!“
“I had a very nice encounter with the owner at U-Haul where I work and he gave me and my two coworkers free sub meals. Great guy and very nice helping us guys out with dinner. Store was great too and worker there was nice. Would recommend this place to anyone !“
“They have a great atmosphere and a super clean store. The brunette named Briana helped me and made my sandwich and was so nice and polite. Also grabbed a couple cookies and a drink. Cookies and sandwich were amazing. This is my favorite store to go to. Will always return to this store whenever I'm craving a sandwich. 10 out of 10 recommend“
“Under new ownership, the hours are now steady, ingredients fresh, staff was very personable, you can use the app for this location now. It's a proper Subway with a very clean place. It's what I remember from when Subway was young. Kudos to the new owner and especially to the employee I met just a bit ago, she really did a good job and was very sweet.“

“Although I'm not a huge fan of subways. This one surprised me with it being clean and fast and friendly service but the best part was how fresh everything looked, every subway I have gone too has been terrible but this one was the rarity. Will definitely stop in when I'm in Lansing again“
“As im sitting in the subway parking lot, im feeling really bad for an employee. The supervisor seems frustrated with his day, as all can be, however decided to reprimand his colleague in an absolute disgusting tone. I could see the embarrassment flush in her face and felt terrible. Employees make mistakes, but as a supervisor you should never reprimand an employee like that in front of customers. I wouldn’t be surprised if the poor lady quits. I know I would. The gentleman who made my order was also kind, and I asked him to pass along my words of encouragement to her to hopefully make her feel less embarrassed . If you were working and leaving around 5:45 and see this ma’am, truly don’t let him get to you. If he wants to let people control his emotions in that way then he is not in the position to be a supervisor. I truly hope you have a wonderful night!“
