“We have purchased 9 cakes over 8 weeks (2x in shop first time, 3 at Meijer, 2 at Meridian Days festival, and 2 more in shop at the kitchen last week). That should tell you how good it is. We are a family of two adults and one child. We can’t stop. Our kid wants this for his birthday, and this will be our go-to contribution for parties.
Everything tastes real, not artificial. Texture of both cream and crust are spot on. Exceptional flavors have been turtle, lemon, strawberry shortcake and peach cobbler. Check out their website for special, limited flavors. I’m told they may bring the peach back; perfect for Thanksgiving- fall flavors but with a bit of brightness.“

“We ordered a wedding cake for our daughter who is gluten free. People at the wedding were RAVING about how good it was. They were SHOCKED to learn it was gluten free. “I've had cake and cupcakes from this bakery twice now, and I am blown away by how good everything has been!! The cake has been super moist and flavorful, and the frosting is sweet without feeling like it will give me a toothache. This is by far my favorite bakery out of other places I have tried in Lansing and Jackson. I have tried the raspberry and the orange-pineapple flavors and I honestly can't pick a favorite!! I highly recommend Cakes-A-Bloomin'!!
I also want to add that the customer service I received was phenomenal. They were very accommodating!“
