Never had been to Michigan before, we looked up breakfast places on our last day and stumbled upon this gem! Everyone was so nice, food was amazing and decently priced, and the coffee was amazing as well (just wish they had different creamer options hehe ;) )
Still a place we talk about to this day after a month of being home! Definitely give this place a shot if you’re in the area, it would definitely be my go to if i lived here!

Athena’s is an excellent mix of Greek food and American food. The atmosphere fits the Greek American vibe perfectly. The food is above average. I have always had excellent service at Athena’s.

Several issues here, the fried chicken and mashed potatoes had very good flavor, the first issue is it's a half chicken dinner but only brought out three pieces. Next the breast looked great but was ice cold in the middle. So they did bring out another piece, problem two was they brought out a very small thigh not a breast. Problem three, service was extremely slow and they were not busy, when your waitress looks at your empty glass and you have to ask for a refill that's poor service. Sat for quite a while to get the check because waitress was busy talking at the counter

It was good not bad not great. Our waitress was great very pleasant and helpful. The food was average/good. Could have made the same stuff at home for 1/3 the price. I had breakfast an my wife had lunch both was good just a lil pricey, but with groceries being how they are who knows. I might come back an try the Ruben see how they do.

Very pleased! I worked at a breakfast restaurant on and off for 15 years. And to be honest I am not a fan of eggs due to cooking them all the time. But I ordered I’m pretty sure the country omelet, bacon , sausage, and country gravy on top. Only ate half of it took the rest home. To let it sit in the fridge forever, actually took it out a day later and finished it for dinner. Hands down best omelets. It’s fresh meats and wrapped to perfection. Highly recommend this place to eat. They also have really good fish!! Ok enough lol

Small portion breakfast with a 17 dollar price tag after 20 percent tip. Surely not even close to the best breakfast in Lansing for that price.

Extremely fast service with a smile. The cook brought me my food because the waitress was helping others. Enjoyed the Eggs with Meat Combo.

Nice wait staff. Menu has a lot of options. Kind of slow even when not busy. Our order was wrong. Food was average.
Parking: I would park as close to the entrance as possible! The entrance door is kinda towards the back of the building!

Love this place. My husband and I are new to Lansing. We were looking for a good, non expensive breakfast spot. Yes, we tried all the big corporate restaurants. We want a mom & pop type spot. This fits. It's not expensive. The food is great. The service is great too.
