Really good food. Great service. My friend and I both agreed how good it was after we left. I think I found my new favorite diner!

We decided to try this place out, after seeing it on “Check Please, Bay Area”. They have a large menu and there was something for everyone. We opted for the three-dip sampler which came with fresh baked pita wedges, fried pita wedges and bread. Our choices were Athena Olive Spread, Hummus and Tirokaftreri. Delicious! We also ordered Lamb Souvlaki platter, Chicken Souvlaki platter and Biftekia. The portions were generous and we took home leftovers. Very yummy! The service was also great! We will be back and there are other dishes we'd like to try. 😋

Good for at a reasonable price.

Dirty plates. Cold food. Overwhelmed serving staff. Found dried up food stuck to my plate underneath the eggs. French toast came out hard and cold. Saw the server twice and it took over an hour. Most of the time we just sat there with dirty plates in front of us.
The food tasted great, kinda small portions of food for what your paying - almost $4 for a cup of coffee/soda which is outrageous and the service really sucked.. Not sure I'll be going back any time soon.

Was in the area and a random stop for food. What a stop. Get breakfast skillit. Ask for extra crispy hashbrowns on it. You wont be dissapointed.

Great food and even better customer service. Get the Mangonada & Papas Locos. All Agua Frescas were delicious!
This place never disappoints me. Breakfast is awesome here .
How the mighty have fallen! Athena's used to score high on all respects --not anymore. My friend and I ordered olive burgers. Yuck! Maybe 1 olive was cut up and tossed into a large tablespoon of mayo, then smeared on the bun. Neither of us could barely taste olives! We asked the waitress to have the cook redo the sauce and actually have a bunch of olives in the sauce this time.
She said the owner is the cook right now, and he's not going to like what you just requested. What?!? When she approached him, we heard him raise his voice and say something in an angry tone (we were in the back of the restaurant). She came back with a tiny plastic cup with the exact same stuff!!
The prices have been jacked up way high .... $4 additional charge for small side of fries. 10% surcharge to order soup to go! That makes no sense, considering that a small cup of soup is $7! Not kidding.
Used to go there all the time, obviously we are never coming back and will not recommend Athena's to coworkers and friends. Sad, really.
Great Greek meal with colleagues. Great food. We loved the octopus and the squid, both grilled, both great!
Still a great place to have lunch. They're not afraid to use the herbs and spices necessary to prepare authentic greet dishes. The domades are the best around stuffed with oregano seasoned meat and rice. The chicken souvlaki was tender moist and delicious.
