lobster roll. thumps up đđ
Never had a bad experience until yesterday. Waited a while at counter to give my order. Everyone was busy but not one, âwe will be right with youâ, no acknowledgment. Whatever, no big deal. Then the big boy behind the counter walks up and picks up the phone and proceeds to take an order in front of me. He didnât put them on hold but made them the priority. I told him he should take the order of the person in front of him and put the phone on hold. A total pet peeve of mine. He said nothing, wrote the order down and hung up and walked away. A nice young lady took my order and I went to sit down with my wife who was waiting for me. I told her about it that I thought it was rude to be ignored and out of nowhere, for everyone to hear behind the partition in the kitchen, â donât worry buddy, youâll get your sandwich firstâ. Thatâs not the point I tell him, as I am talking to kitchen partition and not an actual person, and that you take the order of the person in front of you first. Itâs disrespectful but not a big deal. We could have discussed in private but instead he tells me he is going to refund my order. Iâm baffledâŠso he kicked me out for no reason other than he didnât like my opinion and is butt hurt and doesnât apologize. I didnât curse, I didnât raise my voice, I didnât shout from across the place or make a spectacle. Thatâs not the way to treat customers nor the way I would treat their staff. Normally I like their lobster rolls but the one last week was sub par, too hot, dry and couldnât taste the butter at all so we ordered a sandwich this time but never got to taste it. I said I would be in touch as I walked out but he laughed at me and said ok buddy. I would have like to discuss the matter privately but after that I doubt he would take it seriously. The refund hasnât been returned back according to my bankâŠ.still waiting.
A local sandwich shop. No it's a local sandwich shop experience. The menu is something to explore. Seasonal sandwiches are the best. Stop in and support and experience.
I travel all over the country for work and havenât found many sandwiches served that rival those of Babeâs Corner. Outstanding rolls help to make the sandwiches! You wonât be disappointed.
This foodie was so excited to have a lobster roll especially in July when seafood is so hard to get.
We've gotten this a couple of times now as a reward at work, and I'd give the sandwiches 10/5 stars if it let me. The food is absolutely delicious! I was pleasantly surprised by what I thought was an unusual combination of flavors on the Betty, but it's perfect. Can't wait to try more sandwiches.
Was dying to try their lobster roll. Did not disappoint! I ordered the Maine lobster roll and it was delicious and super fresh. Ordered over the phone and was so relieved to have beat the lunch rush! I recommend ordering over the phone if youâre in a pinch!
Lobster roll - đ yum!
My favorite sandwich shop in Lansing. All the ingredients taste fresh, and service is fast and friendly. What more could you ask for?
Such a great deli - exactly the sort of place Lansing has been missing for so long. Unfortunately it can be a hard place to spot due to the enormous apartment complex sign that hangs above the door. I had driven by their location countless times and had never noticed the sandwich shop! I hope the building owners can do something about that garish sign - and help out these great small business owners.
(PS: we nearly ate all of our food before the idea to take a photo hit).

Love love love these sandwiches! The service is always friendly and fast. It's a small sandwich shop, but they do have outdoor seating for when it's warmer.

Since moving to the Midwest from the south a year ago, finding delicious, well-seasoned food has been a STRUGGLE. Other highly-rated local places have left me disappointed. Finally, today my quest has ended with Babe's Corner. Their French dip is to die for, and I'm hoping it becomes a permanent addition to the menu. Can't wait to come back when it is warmer to try the ice cream!

Really yummy sandwiches, super filling. Just a bit pricey for a sandwich shop in Lansing. Also be sure to be super specific and vocal about any potential allergens!!
