I first tried Bangos at their food truck off Saginaw. Just circling back to write this review because I tried them again at their co-location with SM downtown. After trying the potato's I wanted to go leave a five star review, but couldn't because I already had from last year.

Bangos has been one of our favorite food trucks in the Lansing area for so long. We made sure to stop by The Brew Cafe every time they were there. When we heard they were looking to sell, we got really nervous that we might not be able to eat their food again, but are so happy that they are now inside Strange Matter Coffee!
Now that the kitchen is open and running downtown, we had to run and grab some of those Nasty AF potatoes! Easily the best thing on the menu and maybe even our favorite food item of all time.

Bangos is amazing. Great breakfast options, be sure to have the nasty potatoes !!! If you have a chance to catch them offering dinner, their Vegan Coney is highly recommended. I always move my work schedule around just to go and grab it!

I can never move out of Lansing because I would miss my Sunday Bangos ritual too much. Seriously. Their vegan breakfast sandwiches are a GODSEND for someone like me who tries to eat vegan but looooves a big ol breakfast sammie. Honestly breakfast sandwiches are my primary food group and theirs make me not miss actual eggs and cheese in the slightest. And the potatoes with their nasty seasoning...out of this world. Literally the first place I take anyone who visits from out of town, no joke.
Love the bistro feel. Foods amazing by the way.
