Service was extremely slow. The restaurant was not busy - there was only one other table of people while we were there. The bartender/waiter took our drink orders and then prepared the drinks. I guess he decided all of the drinks had to come out at the same time. The first thing he did was to take beer out of the fridge and open it. Then, it sat there warming and going flat for, no kidding, 30 minutes while he made the other drinks. By the time the drinks were served, everyone...
Batter Up Bistro has a beautiful interior with a well-thought-out design and cozy atmosphere. We arrived close to closing time, and they mentioned that a large group had been there earlier, so they were out of some menu items, especially bread. While the food was flavorful, the potatoes weren’t fully cooked, and the heavy use of butter made everything feel overly greasy.

Food was excellent! We appreciated the all organic and fresh artisan bread. Service was so kind during a very busy Sunday brunch. Charming, old world mixed with modern aesthetic. Impressed and will be returning.
Kid-friendliness: Very much appreciated their kindness toward our two year old. Plenty of crayons and three plus pages of coloring books.
