so i go here once a week normally but today's visit was my last. we ordered and waited a good 15 mins then when we sat to eat my budd'y's sub and my own were about half as full as normal and the meat was about half over cooked like almost burnt but it was when i opened my mac n cheese and seen it was mush and almost the same consistency as mash potatoes with large lumps, it was pretty nasty. so i go up and ask for my money back for the mash n cheese and the owner girl gave me an attitude , no apologies, no i'm sorry about that , just plan attitude then shorted me my money back lmfao, the last time ever going here.. jersey mike's is waaaayyyyy better and right down the road so bye bye nasty little big john's

Not overly impressed, friend had raved about it but he was at the location that closed and it was several years ago. Sorry but won’t be returning. Not worth it for me to go out of my way on a 7 hour drive.
Google says you close at 9pm. Your workers decided to close at 8:50. What a waste of a drive. Won’t ever return here again. Hire employees that aren’t in a rush to leave

A really good steak sandwich inside the restaurant was well kept up and clean. Service was fast and friendly and definitely would recommend this place. Looking for a good hearty steak sandwich.
I was incredibly disappointed when I got home with my philly chicken sandwich. I asked to add banana peppers and mushrooms and from my picture you can clearly see neither were included. Far far more disappointing, as you can see the sandwich is all bread, with the contents not coming close to filling it up. The amount of chicken is abysmal, and the cheese isn’t even CLOSE to melted. I remember this restaurant being far far better in the past.

8:45 pm. Open sign on. Doors locked. Website says open till 9 pm. I will never stop at this location again. I wish I could talk to a daytime manager. I live in Muskegon and Big Johns is always a treat. I'm sure the manager don't care either.
