Not overly impressed, friend had raved about it but he was at the location that closed and it was several years ago. Sorry but won’t be returning. Not worth it for me to go out of my way on a 7 hour drive.

A really good steak sandwich inside the restaurant was well kept up and clean. Service was fast and friendly and definitely would recommend this place. Looking for a good hearty steak sandwich.

Big John Steak & Onion has the best cheese steak hoagies in town, arguably, in the State of Michigan. I had the full sized cheese steak, with extra steak meat ($16), and wasn't disappointed at all. Well worth every dollar spent. Like their commercials say; "Big John Steak & Onion, that's what I'm talking about".
