Fast service, decent size sandwich, and an interesting red sauce, which I understand is famous, but I didn’t quite get into it. It doesn’t really taste like anything else I’ve ever had. (Unique)

food is usually pretty good. the price is a bit high but i understand inflation exists. the problem is i ordered a philly chicken sandwich and it was extremely salty. i picked most of the meat off and ate it cause i bought it. the thing is i usually love it :( i also didn’t try it before leaving a review on doordash. so i couldn’t go back and let people know

I’ve liked Big John since they came to Lansing, and the sandwiches have always been delicious. The restaurant is clean, although fairly spartan, and the staff was nice once they noticed a customer. This last time I just got the standard beef sandwich, and it was great. The red sauce really adds to the flavor, and it doesn’t detract from the meatiness. Being right off the highway, this is one of my fast go-to spots in the Lansing area.

Man they had bugs in my sub and the meat tasted old like it was bad. Just disgusted & Disappointed. Do not eat here !!!
