New place in town and it has a great ambience utilizing the old train carriage. The food was good but really depends on what you were ordering. My wife's breakfast taco was exceptional while my sandwich was mediocre at best. It was really busy when we went and that could be a reason. The drinks were good but wish that they had more beers available. Will try again in a few months to see if things have changed/improved. Would still recommend as the staff is really friendly and caring.

Lovely atmosphere, super-mediocre food. Fried fish tasted old. Gravy in the bowl was cold and congealed. Burger buns were stale. Fries were didn't taste good. Onion rings were 80% tasteless coating, 20% too-thinly cut onions. We were excited about this place. Started with pretty-good drinks and delicious nachos and goat cheese, but the dinners were just really disappointing. Shoot.

We arrived an hour after the business opened and uncomfortably stood at the entrance waiting at the host station for someone to acknowledge us. Many employees walked by but nobody greeted us until we were halfway in the restaurant. I had to shout over the extremely loud music that we needed a table which I thought was pretty obvious. We sat at a high top table with the bartender as our waitress. She took our order, asked if everything was okay as soon as a kitchen staff member brought out the food, and then was too busy making drinks to check back in. Staff members continued to walk back and forth, back and forth, back and forth which was distracting. What were they doing and where were they going without anything in their hands while groups of people crowded the entrance? The menu has a balance of strange food combinations and classic basics. There are a lot of vegetarian options. My meatloaf with mashed potatoes was $15 and tasted like diced onions drenched in barbecue sauce with a huge blob of dry, garlicky chunk potatoes. The loaded tots for $10 were room temperature with some squeezed out sour cream and chives to make it fancy. It just looked silly to me. It was interesting to visit and see what parts of the historic Clara's Lansing Station remained or were remodeled. Now that I've seen it, Bobcat Bonnie's was a disappointment with poor service, unpleasantly loud music, boring food, and nothing intriguing except the hollow husk of the former famed landmark.

Loved it. Very good service and food.. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun. Price was appropriate. I like what they did with the building coming from a Lansing native who visited this building many times, back when it was Clara's. I think they did a great job.The onion rings were on point and i liked all the menu options that were available.

The food was good. (I had fish tacos.) The Old Fashioned was perfect. The service was good. The chairs in the train car were not table chairs in that the back leaned backwards. So, more a wanna be armless lounge chair than a dining chair. I was with 2 other people and we all felt the same way. I'll go again but eat in a different room with different chairs. For Clara fans, it's totally different inside and has a contemporary vibe.

Bobcat Bonnie's is a unique restaurant. This was our first visit. Their brunch menu was fun and included interesting twists with breakfast cereal. Matt's customer service is amazing and we will be back to check out their dinner. Thank you!Dietary restrictions: Their vegan sausage was really good. I have a pork allergy so it was nice to have another option.

Awesome building, great food, and great service! Really glad that they expanded to Lansing and were able to utilize such a unique and beautiful space. We’re vegetarian and vegan and they had a ton of great options. Definitely recommend and we’ll be coming back!Vegetarian options: A good number of vegetarian/vegan options on the menu.

Very fun restaurant with great service, most of the food is so good. I think they should know the butternut squash tastes like vanilla cake - whole party thought so. Besides that, a fabulous place!

Absolutely amazing! Food was phenomenal! We tried a variety of menu items. The breakfast burrito was outstanding ?. Drinks were delicious and the Billionaire Bacon was a perfect mix between salty, sweet, and a lil spice on the back end. Service was outstanding ?. A true gem in the Lansing area. If you have not tried I highly recommend. A great experience!

Got kicked out by the owner for not leaving soon enough. 6 open tables that look just like mine but I guess they wanted my table. Doubt I go back. Good job

We called early in the day to make reservations for a party of ten. We were told 7:30. We waited over an hour past our reservation time to be seated. We watched as they seated countless smaller tables during this time period. That’s an option that they could’ve offered us, along with a comped drink from the bar or something. Nothing. Just a shrug and a “sorry.” Customer service begins the minute your customer walks into your establishment, not when the waitress appears at the table. This was a ridiculous experience. I left to go eat across the street after waiting an hour and fifteen minutes. Some of my party decided to stay.

My friend & I had a great experience at Bobcat Bonnie’s. We got the famous bowl & it was SO good. I also got the apple crisp which was delicious. Providing extra grace is important as they get up and running. Can’t wait to go back!

There is a wide variety of menu options that were able to satisfy the very picky eaters in my family. We went for brunch and you MUST try the Billionaire's Bacon if you are into meat! Service was friendly, prompt and went above and beyond. I had a very enjoyable time celebrating my birthday here and loved the ambiance. Highly recommend!!!

St. Patricks Day brunch was a home run! The place was packed and staff was crushing it. Sat at the bar and service was spot on. Drinks were great, food was delicious! See you again soon!
