Wonderful first time over at Bowdie's (Lansing) for my 34rd Birthday. Birthdays and Anniversaries come with free dessert so that was a nice touch. Right from the host table we were welcomed in, greeted with a "Happy Birthday", even came early, but still shown to our table, then upgraded to a more intimate booth. Gorgeous, little restaurant. They have cute little oil lamps on all the tables and that was a nice touch, plus to the romantic oldies /classics like Sinatra...
The food was outstanding. From the duck ravioli to the shrimp bisque, bone in filet and Ahi Tuna, with sides of mushrooms and the lobster Mac and cheese, Bowdies killed it! Great job! Just remember you are paying for this awesome food! It isn't free! For special occasions, go out of your way to visit. You won't be disappointed!
Bowdies Chophouse never disappoints! We love the small and intimate ambiance. The quality of food and preparation are top notch combined with excellent service. You're in luck with Paul as your waiter. He offers great wine pairing suggestions and preparation recommendations. If your open to an Escargot appetizer...it's amazing! Based on Pauls recommendation we also ordered the Ahi Tuna - an exceptional appetizer not always on the menu. The prime cuts of beef selections...
