Planned a night out with friends to celebrate the holiday season. Have been to Capital Prime on a number of occasions, but will not be returning. Arrived at 5:30. Left at 7:45. No food. Appetizers, drinks were delightful…But after waiting two hours and fifteen minutes for our main courses, we requested our bill. Waitperson said wait for the manager, who arrived with no apology, just excuses. Repeat: Not one I’m sorry. For a restaurant of this caliber it was a total disappointment.

The food was generally quite good however the prime rib was all well done, stuffing was dry, and they actually ran out of mashed potatoes which we waited 30 minutes to see if they would be replenished. They were not! How do you have Thanksgiving dinner without mashed potatoes!! It was fairly early in the day - 1:30!

Service and food were fabulous, as always! We live out of town but always make Capital Prime our night out. We love the Capital Shrimp and fresh oysters. Also had Ahi Tuna Tartar which was good. Can't say enough about Adam and Tim who were our servers/bartenders who worked as a team making certain we were taken care of.

5 Star Rating isn't high enough. One of the best restaurants/steak house in the entire Lansing area. Have never had bad experience with anything ... staff, drinks, meals .... outstanding!

The tuna was incredible, literally melted in my mouth. Excellent selection of wine available. Michael was an amazing server. He was funny, attentive, and very knowledgeable regarding the menu.

Always a great place to eat. My family and I have dined here numerous times and really enjoyed it. I want to say thank you so much to all of the staff that has donated bottles to my son's bottle drive for wrestling. You guys are awesome and helping him create core memories he will always remember.

We were happy to arrive to a fully reserved restaurant and be seated in an area with plenty of space. Everything from service to food was to satisfaction in many other restaurants however I had hoped for a closer to 5 star experience in this restaurant. I am also not a fan of the archaic practice of taking the credit card away from the table for processing because there are no handheld units? Leaving me worried that my cards details are collected, used or sold as I leave after dinner is below my standard. . 3/5

My date ordered her filet medium I ordered mine medium rare. They mixed them up.
Food was amazing service was great. Medium rare cooked steak was actually medium rare! And boy do you get you bang for your buck with the desserts! Also calamari was awesome! Great ambiance

We wanted a nice atmosphere for dinner to celebrate a 50Th wedding anniversary for friends of ours. Everything was perfect and it started their celebration that is going into the weekend. We have no regrets!

Came here for a very special dinner and they did not disappoint! Firstly thank you Mikey for excellent service. Menu options are extensive and mouth watering. The drinks are exquisite as well. I had the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. The Perch was also excellent! Drinks are all very tasty and refreshing as well. Really just an exceptional restaurant with exceptional staff.
