Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

We were fine until a loud group of kids was set behind us and their parents at a table across from them. We had the bus tub dumped on our table. Our waiter was just awful. He NEVER came back to check on us, did NOT want to bring a paper receipt even though we requested one and were paying with cash. My husband was much more generous with his tip than I would have been!!! If it was me he would have received NO tip!!! He didn't deserve one!!! It was the gentleman who brought our food who checked on us more than our ""'waiter""' EVER did!!!

I understand a restaurant being busy, but our service was bad tonight. We ordered our drinks and dinner at the same time. We also ordered salads that we never got. Our drinks came after our food was delivered. Our server ignored us after that. She came after we finished with our meal to show us how to pay our bill. We had to ask her to remove the salad because we never received them. No, sorry, or oops. We have been wanting to try Cheddars for a long time. We passed several other chain restaurants to go there. Unfortunately, this experience means we won't make that mistake twice. We would have ordered a second drink if the first one hadn't taken soooooo long.

Pot pie lunch choice, cant go wrong! Easy parking and entry. Sat quickly (my guest had a wait before being recognized). Food served hot. There is a little wait during lunch but nothing obscene.

No complaints on our food or service we received... that's 5 stars in my book. Otherwise, Cheddar's is your typical American family/casual dining experience whose menu is similar to other chain restaurants. However, the quality and service is a step above your typical Applebee's or Chili's.

Cheddar's is great. You always get a large amount of food for the price. I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants, but they one of the best in that category. The chicken tenders are amazing.

Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen in Lansing exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, we were seated incredibly fast, and the service was just as quick. Our waitress was truly on her A-game—kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. She was friendly, efficient, and made our dining experience feel effortless.

Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely delicious! The ribs were tender and flavorful, the chicken tenders were perfectly crispy, and the honey mustard was the best we’ve ever had. My daughter ordered the Alfredo and a grilled cheese, and she gave both a big thumbs-up. My husband had a steak with a baked potato and a salad, and he couldn’t stop raving about how perfectly cooked and seasoned everything was.

On top of the incredible food and top-tier service, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, outstanding service, and a great vibe, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen is it. Five stars all the way! We’ll definitely be back.
