The food taste is fine, but the chicken was too dry from couple my past orders. The service is bad!!! For the price you charging, you need to provide equivalent service!!! The lady never came back ask us if we needed anything, she was not willing to bring take out boxes to us as the fact we have a lot of food left after we asked for it, we had to put food in the take out boxes ourselves as she refused to do it, basically we were self severed, she even didn’t bring us the bill instead of just the card machine and want us to pay. 20%tip paying for nothing. Owner- you need to hear your customer’s voice.

Extremely disappointed.
Spent almost $120 and got no rice, no utensils, nothing.
What’s confusing is that last time I ordered the same food, I didn’t leave any notes and rice was included. This time I paid more and got less. Makes no sense.
The food was bad.
The guobaorou was awful — greasy, hard, weird texture, and just unpleasant to eat. I honestly couldn’t finish it.
The pancake was clearly not fresh, dry and stiff, like it had been made a day or two ago.
The chicken and mushroom stew was very average. Flat flavor, no depth. I’ve had frozen food that tasted better.
For this price, this is unacceptable.
If you’re charging this much, at least get the basics right.
No rice, no utensils, bad food. That’s it.
Won’t be ordering again.

Delicious food. Service was wonderful and friendly. They did a ton of work on the interior to make it a warm and beautiful place.

Amazing food, a friend ordered for us a head of time and it was absolutely amazing. They buy their food daily so the key is to order ahead of time. Everything is so fresh. The way they fry their food 👌🏼 10/10 can't wait to go back. The mapo tofu and vnegar cabbage were my favorites. The ribs are right up there.
One of the best places to get real food in Lansing. Genuine Chinese cuisine, it's just one guy that runs this place and he runs it with passion everyday. The meals are reasonably priced to split between 2-4 people or if alone, will feed you for 2-3 days with the leftovers.
My favorite is the Gele Shan crispy spicy chicken, beef skewers, and sweet and sour pork. The cucumber salad is a nice light side I enjoy.
They don't patronize you like some restaurants and give plastic dishes or cups, no, it's real glass cups, and what feels like fine china plates/bowls.
The iced water is filtered and tasteless (a good thing) and they have such a unique selection of cold teas.
When I go here anytime it's usually quiet or just 1-2 people at most. It's a real sleeper and hidden gem of Lansing. For best service call in advance and make a reservation.

Food was too salty and service was very poor, they said they require you to tip even when they did not deserve that

I don’t know how he prepares the food to be this good. I don’t think I’ve ever had better Chinese food in my life. The spicy sizzling tofu was amazing. Chef Gong’s service was also incredible.

Delicious authentic Chinese food. Can be a bit pricey but the portion is large. Be careful they might not open in the noon despite the website says so. Owner recommended calling one day ahead to reserve spots

A terrible store. Google says it’s open from 11 AM to 9 PM, but when my family and I arrived at 12 PM, it was closed—and they didn’t even answer the phone.

Totally obsessed with this place! The food is crazy good — all freshly made and super flavorful. Huge portions too!
The owners are so sweet and friendly, we had such a nice long chat with them. The restaurant is also really cute — so many pretty little decorations everywhere. You can tell they care about every detail.
Pro tip: call ahead if you can — it’s all cooked fresh, so ordering early helps. 10/10 would go again!

We called ahead since we had 8 people to make sure they had space for us. They were able to fit us and also helped us order ahead and so our food was almost ready when we arrived. Huge family style portions and delicious dishes. Everything was amazing, the one pot dish and stir fried eggplant were table favorites.

Best food I ever had in my whole life. Huge family style platters, beautiful dining room, friendly folks. You really can’t go wrong with anything on this menu. I’ve only been to Lansing once, but I would stop through again just to eat the food here.
