Was passing through Lansing Michigan and took a chance on Danny’s Coney Island. Do not get food by appearances! Three eggs with Home fries and bacon were the best I’ve ever had outside of my home. Coffee wasn’t bad either. Better than Starbucks. highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious food, and a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Staff works very hard and keep everything friendly and very homey.

The breakfast menu is large and covers two pages, make sure to look at them both, there are plenty of options.

In regards to the food, I cannot say enough about how good the french fries were. Not due to fancy seasonings, but the french fry itself was as good as I have ever had, the person I was eating with agreed, although they liked their french toast very much also.

I will be back, and encourage you to do the same.

Parking: Has a largeblot south of the building.

Kid-friendliness: Has plenty of kid friendly options on the menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp forbwheelchair access.

The fries don't look like the menu. They are just smothered in yellow cheese sauce. They forgot the ranch, even requested it separately. My husband thought the coneys were kind of mushy, "no snap" Probably would only try once to see if breakfast is better.

The lemon chicken rice soup and the beer battered fries are spectacular. I’m a sucker for diner food and this place never disappoints. Highly recommend this fantastic establishment!

I "Liked" this restaurant until this past weekend. My husband was looking at Cinnamon Roll Pancakes or one of the Omelette's, which is served with "home fries and choice of toast". He chose the Omelette, and when asked what kind of toast, he chose the pancake. He then asked if he could get the pancake served the way they serve the cinnamon pancakes and the server said "Yes", and didn't mention anything about charging extra money since the pancake is offered as a toast option. He didn't get any potatoes and they charged him $4 dollars extra for the pancake. When he asked the waitress about the $4 charge, she said it was for the "Toppings", which was only a thin drizzle of creamy frosting. Nothing worse than a business that over charges for something like this. $4 plus they kept the potatoes!! Never going back because they took advantage of us. We work hard for our money, so we'll spend it elsewhere.
